http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1853033 Peja wants out of Sac. I know it;s a long shot, but what if we packaged Wally and kandi for Peja, now that would be huge! Sammy, Spree, Peja, KG, and Erv with T-Hud, Trenton, and Freddy coming of the bench. NBA Championship would be a lock, forgot Shareef, go after Peja! Peace

I dont like the Reef trade either because I feel its crazy to give up a center without getting a center when thats your weakest position already. Trading one of your only two Centers, only make the spot weaker. But at least a Reef trade, would get you a few more baskets inside 15 feet like a center, he get you some rebounds like about 7 or 8, which will really help the frontline of the wolves if they lost one of the Centers in the trade. Peja all he going to do is pretty much stand out side the three pt line all night, might cut to the basket every once in awhile on a good night. But he isnt going to do anything at the Small Forward spot to improve frontline rebounding, any inside points etc. He would upgrade the shooting but the shooting doesnt really need any upgrading.
That's an interesting idea though, that would definitly make the T-wolves a BIG contender for the championship, not only will they have a scoring trio now, but a scoring, foursome?
Actually the deal is starting to look better, we could get Peja for Wally straight up, after doing a little research, Peja has two years left on his contratc for about 8 mil and Wally has five years at 9 mil, Straight up you have to do this trade, Peja is athree point treat and we don't lose rebounding in the front court. DO THE DEAL!!!
www.hoopshype.com Front story today. The owners of the kings say they will not trade peja and do not intend to do any trade this off season or any time soon according to them. Anyway we shouldnt target him if he was available got hassel and possible would move KG there if we got reef. So there is no need for him.

Teams don't like to trade top players to other teams they are competing with. Think about Shaq, Dallas and Sacramento were able to offer much more than LA finally got from Miami, but it was made clear that Shaq would not be traded within the West. Golden State apparently has not been cooperative in facilitating a sign and trade for Dampier to any Western teams. Hard to imagine Sacramento wanting to help out Minnesota like that, the Maloofs aren't fools.
How productive is a player that doesn't want to be there? Do you think he would ever compare to his stats of last year when he was in the MVP race for awhile? Vlade and Hedo bailed on him and now he's lonely for some countrymen. You know what I mean . The problem I see is that 1, the Kings don't want to trade him. And 2, Wally contract would call for more than just Peja in a trade. Meaning that they would have to add something.

Well, if the Kings won't trade, then it won't happen. But I agree with SunshineRain, hardly any contending team will trade big name players to another team thats in the same conference. It just makes sense....
Peja chokes in the playoffs year after year. Bad move for the Wolves. They need to get at least a PF if they give away the Kandiman.
