Fact. We've strengthened ourselves at the guard spot, but we only have Howard and Taylor right now as our power forwards. Padgett should serve well as a third-string forward and provide some three-point shooting. F/F: Reece Gaines will earn a spot in the rotation and be a steal for us.

The team has gotten two very decent point guards in sura and ward. Ward is a solid back up and a good shooter not starting material though. Sura is eh sort of starting marterial as he had three triple doubles last year. If they get a decent back up center which they apparently will as a trade with the bulls seems to soon be arriving. I think they can very well be a title contender this season, but they need Yao to be a consistant scorer every night giving them at least 18 on his worst nights. I remember a game last season where Yao was coming off of a twenty point game and he took only 1 shot all game and finished with under 5 points.The rockets can not have that if they want to be successful. Some people may say that was because francis and mobely shot to much, but tmac shoots just as much Yao has to become a vocal leader on the floor. Fact or Fiction. The Rockets will be in the market for a starting point guard before the trading deadline again?
