I know that most of you here aren't as excited for the final three games of the year as the Philly, Atlanta, New England, and Pittsburgh fans are, but the anticipation is really starting to get to me.

My focus is solely on getting to the Super Bowl and seeing the Steelers get their 5th Lombardi Trophy. Anything less, and of course I'll be disappointed. We're not "supposed" to win tomorrow, but I can tell you this. The Steelers will fight, scratch, and claw for 60 minutes tomorrow. They can win, but it won't be easy. A lot of stats are against us. Brady's undefeated record in the playoffs, the haunting loss at Heinz Field in 2001, and Bill Cowher's 1-3 record in the AFC Championship game are all stats that have been thrown at this team all week. But.... all that is behind the Steelers and this game is in front of them. It's a different team, different assistants (DC & OC) and the #1 defense in yards and scoring.

Let's rally for the underdog this week, get out your Terrible Towels and start waiving. Hasn't Boston had enough success? It's time to knock Brady back down to earth.

"Here we go Steelers, here we go!"

I'm hard pressed to come out as a supporter of either of these teams. [IMG]

I'll just say that I would like a good game to watch, and hope for a good showing and win in the Super Bowl from whoever represents the AFC.

Hey, if it were Oakland & New England, I'd feel the same way. But give the kid some props. It's fun seeing Roethlisberger leading the vets here in Pittsburgh.

Good to see you again Chip... it's been too long.

I understand your bitterness JETS, but New England beat your Jets twice. I can't believe you'd root for them.

Don't worry, I'll pick a team before it starts. I can ignore regular season match-ups, but not those in the playoffs. I'm leaning toward the Steelers. There, I said it. Of course, you may not want my support. I rooted for the RAIDERS all season. [IMG]

The kid can play. But the pressure may be too much for the rookie. He had a few boo-boos last weekend. I hear that he isn't going to wear the passing hand glove this week. The papers out here are indicating that part of the reason may be the heat he is getting from old-time Steeler fans that remember the bare-armed (and handed) teams of the seventies. He should go with whatever makes him comfortable.

I'm trying to spend more time here. It's not as easy as it used to be, but I'm fitting it in when I can.

I've been preparing for Sunday since tuesday. Now it's snowing so I can't do anything until later tonight. Already got shrimp, clams, cheesesteaks, pizza (for pickup on sunday), 12 cases of beer, and alot more food. This sunday is going to be great

I, too, am rooting for New England. Can't speak for Jets but some degree of divisional loyalty is why I'm rooting for the Pats.

I will be okay with Pittburgh winning the AFC.

There is no ifs, and, or buts about it; I want Atlanta to represent the NFC.

I'll say it again. I'd love to see a NE/Atl Super Bowl just to see what Belichick would do w/ 2 weeks to design a game plan to shut down Vick.

You give Vick too much credit. All you'd have to do is follow what the Bucs did. You just have the right personnel to follow that plan.

I can't bring myself to root for New England in any circumstance.

    Pittsburgh
    Philly
    Atlanta
    New England

    In that order.

He didnt give too much credit to Vick, you just dont give him enough if you even give him any at all.

He's not unstoppable. And don't assume that I give him no credit. I think he's a fantastic athelete. But he's beatable.

I didnt assume you didnt give him any credit, I said IF you give him any at all, which left room for you to respond and you have now and you say you do, so I believe you.

Check this out. My buddy calls me up last night, and is like do you want to go to the Game. I was like, are you serious. Turns out, he has an extra ticket, and guess whose name is on it. I will be there tomorrow in the freezing cold, in a foot of snow yelling at the Falcons, telling them how much they suck. I cannot wait till tomorrow. We are gonna destroy the Falcons. I dont even care who we see in a Super Bowl, either team will be fun. I would love to see Eagles-Pats, cause combined they have been to 7 championship games in the last 4 years, and have yet to play each other.

Yelling at the Falcons and telling them how much they suck huh. Well when they dominate the game and take the W, then what are you going to yell?

Right now I say Eagles suck, and choke #4 is just around the corner. So get ready!

The last NFc championship game I went to, was the last game at the Vet, we were playing the Bucs. That is still, the most dissapointing game I have ever seen. Looking back at it now, McNabb was coming off an injury, and the Bucs defense that year was incredible. It wa a tough loss, but the Bucs were a better team that day, and they went to prove it in the Super Bowl.

I am not being biased, but I just dont see how the Falcons can beat us, if we lose, it's because we beat ourselves.

Thats not even confidence, thats crossing the line to being cocky. They're definately good enough to beat the Eagles if you dont think so then you are being biased.

I know either team could win this game, but I'm obviously pulling for the Falcons, and I believe they're good enough to win. Thats confidence.

i'm not really rooting for NE but i think they will win. Its hard to root for anyone in these playoffs.

New England: Beat them twice (Jets beat themselves twice)
Pittsburg: I dont really want to get into it i'll start crying
Philly: It'd be hilarious if they lost again
Atlanta: I have nothin against them but i think in the AFC they'd probably be 9-7 or something not 11-5. slightly overrated
