The latter hurdle becomes even greater for the Bulls because Indiana is said to be offering former Bull Ron Artest, who is the reigning defensive player of the year... Other options Paxson is considering to add size and scoring skills to his backcourt are Bobby Sura, Eric Piatkowski and Calbert Cheaney</div>http://www.suntimes.com/output/bulls/cst-spt-bull07s.html

Who would Chicago offer? Surely it would have to be, say, Eddy Curry and Scottie Pippen's contract?

Everyone would love to play for the Bulls, but in the end, they don't.

i doubt this happens, Chicago has loads of perimeter players-Deng, E-Robinson, and I think Gordon will eventually be a 2....

The real question seems to be how much are you guys willing to give-up to get Peja. Would you guys be willing to lose some of your young core? I doubt just Curry and Pippen would be enough for the kings.

I'd enjoy seeing Peja in a Bulls uni.

I know a lot of people will jump on me for this, but I would rather see Peja stay in Sac-town then come to Chicago. 1st off we would most likely have to trade our young core to get them. Either Deng, Gordan, or Hinrich would be in the deal. I dont see us getting him for just Curry, Mutumbo, and E-Rob. Plus even if we do get him he will keep our young players from growing because he will be on the court instead of them. I mean don't get me wrong Peja is a great player but I think we would have to give up too much young talent to get him. I really do not want to see that.

I doubt the Bulls trade for Peja. I don't see them getting rid of any of their young players any time soon. Granted Peja is a great shooter and would add some great offense to a Bulls offense that was last in the league last year, I just don't see it happening. I don't think they'll trade off someone like Curry, Chandler, or Hinrich. Plus, just because he wants to come to Chi-town, doesn't mean that Sac-town wants to trade him. He can demand a trade all he wants, but that doesn't mean he's going to get it. But, if they do end up trading him, I think they'll go after some superstar player in return, and the Bulls really don't have one of those to give Sac-town.

People, poeple...please do not even mention kirk hinrich's name involving trades, do not even mention him as part of some rumor. this draft pick of hinrich has been by far the best in recent years IMO (yes, even better than brand and artest).

I personally wouldnt like to have Peja on the team. What is his contract situation? Wont he be a free agent soon? If we get him we will likely consider him our "franchise player" and he not that type of material yet. He has not proven he can lead a team by himself in the stretch run of the year or in the playoffs.

Also I am not crazy about having to put Curry in a trade for him Curry is the next super star the bulls will have imo. I dont think they want to trade him considering past trades of players like miller, artest, and brand. I would hate to see him go.

I'll be honest here. I don't see us landing Stojakovic unless one of the rookies is involved, as well as Curry or Chandler. I'm not sure if i'd be willing to part with any of them. We should pursue him in free agency in 2006, we'll have plenty of money to throw at free agents. We could start him at the 2 and he could be our big guard, with the 3-guard rotation. And hopefully by then, Curry and Chandler will be the players that we've wanted them to be since the day we drafted them.

i would love to have peja play for the bulls but i doubt it's goin to happen. The bulls have made some really bad decesions in the past like trading elton brand and not keeping jamal crawford. They should just keep their young players and try to develope them.

I'd like to see Peja come to Chicago, but in the long run Ben Gordon will give you what Peja gives and more. So in the long run that's a bad deal and Chicago and it pains me to say this is still a year away from making a deep run into the playoffs. They're good for about 5th tops in the East with all that talent.
