    Rasual's breakout year???

Ok, now with Caron out of this year's picture I think Rasual will be putting in some major contributions. He averaged 7.5 pts per game while in the game for 21.0 minutes in his rookie year. Last year he averaged 6.8 while in the game for 15.0 minutes. Not that much difference but I think Van Gundy should give him more court time this year with the absence of Caron. One really great stat for Rasual is his 2004 three point shooting percentage at 46.3, not really sure but possibly led the league last year. Rasual is the type of player that will produce more and more the longer he is in the game. He will not just lay back and just be a body on the court, hopefully the staff will make note and take notice of this. With all the movement with the Heat squad this off-season should open up a whole new era for him and the Heat.

Yeah Rasual is definetly excited about getting an opportunity to start at SF, and looks like he might get the job with the lack of SF (unless wade goes sg and ejones goes sf). He's movitivated and he said he's working on improving his weaknesses that his opponents might try to attack, like his defense and his ballhandling skillz. As far as I'm concerned he is our starting SF with Jerome Beasley/Dorell Wright as our backup SF.

Rasual Butler Regular Season 03-04 Stats
    6.8ppg 1 apg 1.4 rpg .476 fg% .762 ft% .463 3pt% in 15 mpg

The Heat can be a real devistating team with the great shooters we have this year, shaq getting double/triple teams will leave our shooters wide open, and we are also be very strong within the paint. We can still benefit from having one more SF and PF so let's see if we can get any and how it works out.

Rasual is good and he has 3pt shot so he can be along side EJ in 3's but to tell you the truth you know who i think will come out this year, Jerome Beasley, you watch he wasnt given barely anytime last year but all the players on the Heat said he was good.

I actually played against Rasual in HS for a few years. Very tough player to guard and very competitive as well. He and Eddie Griffin were actually were on the same HS team at Roman Catholic, put it this way the team was incredible.

I hope Rasual can have a break out year. We should give him a chance to start. With Caron out of the way he can be our next young talnet along with Dorrell Wright.
Rasual is one of the greatest 3 point shooters currently in the game. He could get a lot of open 3's now that Shaq is here and he will only continue to develop.
