Anyone but Cedric Benson. If Miami acquires another Dreadlocked RB from Texas, I will quit the Dwo.

dont take out your hatred of Ricky Assface on Cedric Benson, give the kid a chance....I know they both went to TX and they both had dreads, but Ricky only because an ass after he left TX and cut his dread...I doubt Cedric Benson has a social disorder and smokes pot....

Maybe I am being to hard on Cedric. However, any animosity I had toward Ricky assclown has gone away.

Ronnie Brown IMO is more versatile & better suited for Linehan's 1 back offense.

Trade idea; #2 Pick & Surtain to Tennessee for the #6 pick (I believe thats where the Titans are), a 2nd round this yr, & a 2nd & 5th next year. Next, Trade down w/ the Chiefs @ #8 (?) for another 2nd rounder

Surtain is worth #6 pick in draft by himself. So you would be trading your 1st for 2 2nds and a 5th? I think that is great deal for tennesee, bad deal for miami

Trade down. Get a extra pick for your offense. The defense is actually very stacked and with a little FA help they can be better. The same with offense i think they should trade down get an extra #1 - #3 draft pick and let Saban mastermind the whole thing. They don't need any of those players listed above.

#2 overall & Surtain would go for #6 overall for 2 second rounders & 5th from Tennessee.

The #6 pick would then go to KC with Miami getting #8 and another second.

I understand what you are doing, but i think if you tried you could get more value than what you have suggested. Surtain is worth the #6 pick in the draft, at least. You could probably get #8 from KC, plus thier 3rd, for surtain straight up.

i would trade Surtain for #8 and a 3rd....I wonder if Saban would....I suspect that Saban will hold onto Surtain and J. Taylor unless he gets a lot of picks for either....I wonder what a team like KC or GB would give up for Jason Taylor....

I would not trade Taylor. Madison or Surtain can easily be replaced by Poole or Howard. It would hard to replace JT & stupid IMO to get rid of the best player on the D.

The Rams would kill to have a quality CB. Trade one of Miami's CB's to St L. They pick 14th (or thereabouts) which would be equitable.

Taylor is getting older and he wont be in his prime by the time the team is ready to win at a high level, so I say get what you can....before last season, trades were rare in the NFl, but teams are starting to come around on the idea....I have to think a ton of teams will line up to go after Surtain, even though hes free after this year, less will want Madison and Jason Taylor could be the big prize, hes a game changer for a defense on the rise that needs a dominant end....
