Fact, i think they'll improve from last year and may be 15th or atleast be above 20th. F/F: sam mitchell will be fired if the raptors have another bad season.
Fiction: They can't keep switching coaches because the next coach would most likely make us have another bad season. Just give the coach another chance to let him gain experience as he will eventually make us have a good season.
Fiction. He'll be able to play a lot more now that Alston is on the team. His minutes will probably significantly decrease...but at least his ankles won't suffer as much as they did before. F/F: Considering their tough schedule, the Raptors end up a couple of games over .500 come the all-star break. ***And by the way, whoever knew me as v_carter15 i've changed my account to this one, but i'll still be posting over here at justbball.***
Well, if you say their schedule is tough, shouldn't the question be "will they be UNDER .500 come the all-star break?" I haven't checked out the schedule, all I know is they face the Rockets on the first day, but I believe this Raptors team will surprise a lot of people. If they can stay above .500 then they will most likely lock the weak Atlantic Division. But it's whats done AFTER the all-star break that counts because that's when teams start palying their best basketball. But after the all-star break is what has been our downfall the past couple of years, hopefully thats not the case this year. F/F- Donyell Marshall will be traded by next summer for a center or a better role player
Fiction, i see raps holding donyell as he is a great starter, or 6th man. f/f Vince will enter the 2005 dunk contest
Fiction, if he didnt go last year i doubt he'll go this year. but who knows. also, didnt they say 3 years or less to enter the contest? F/F: The Raptors record will be over .500 at the end of the season.
Fact, I believe they'll be around 6 games over .500 Fact or Fiction: Donyell Marshall becomes a leading canidate for the 6th man award, if Araujo starts.
Fiction: Marshall will most likely play more games as a starter than bench player, so there's no way he can considered a 6th man. Fact or Fiction: Vince will be the scoring champion next year.
Fiction. There's just too many other better players out there that will almost definitely beat Vince out in scoring (T-Mac, Kobe, ?Pierce?, A.I...) and Shaq will probably avg. many more pnts now that he definitely "has" his own team and how most of the offense will be run through him now. F/F: Vince will grab his first (i believe so) triple double of his career this season.
fiction: he cant there's too many players around that does all that garbage stuff F/F Vince will not get injured for the whole season
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">F/F: Vince will grab his first (i believe so) triple double of his career this season.</div> that cannot be decided through fact or fiction. It is possible he can get one on any given night just like scoring 50 points for instance. Iverson, Carter, kobe etc. can score 50 on any given night which therefore means that this question is irrelevant. I suggest you ask another question. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">fiction: he cant there's too many players around that does all that garbage stuff</div> read my post ^^
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting undefined_playa:</div><div class="quote_post"> F/F: Vince will grab his first (i believe so) triple double of his career this season.</div> He's already got two triple doubles in his career. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">F/F Vince will not get injured for the whole season</div> Fiction: He's going to get injured in every season from now on. Fact or Fiction: Vince still has potential to reach Jordan's level.
Fiction, thats ridiculous, I speak for everyone when I say there is no need for an explanation. Fact or Fiction: Jerome Moiso has added 10 pounds this offseason (so I've heard), and he will surprise Raptor fans next season and jump to a backup center.
Fact. His inconsistency hurts us, but then again he was getting inconsistent minutes which hurt his game. If he can actually dedicate himself to doing the dirty work and to rebound while putting up 7-8 points or so, I can see him as the backup. F/F: The Raptors attendance will be top 2 or 3 in the NBA. (it's evident the raptors have one of, if not the best fans in the league)
Fiction: After the 2002 season, fans pretty much never cared about the Raptors as the attendance census has decreased year by year. Fact or Fiction: Vince Carter's jersey will be hung up on the rafters in the ACC.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Chungster:</div><div class="quote_post">After the 2002 season, fans pretty much never cared about the Raptors as the attendance census has decreased year by year.</div> Actually, Richard Peddie in an interview said they were 5th in the league in attendance last year, the attendance hasn't gone anywhere. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Fact or Fiction: Vince Carter's jersey will be hung up on the rafters.</div> Fiction: As of right now its too early to tell, he may not be a Raptor in the next 2 years (just out of possibility), he also has not led this team farther than the second round and injuries have damaged his career, a few more seasons of consistent scoring numbers and games played then its a possibility. Fact or Fiction: Alvin Williams will be healthy through the season and will start at point guard.
Fact & Fiction. I think he will be generally healthy next season, but only because Alston will be taking the starting role with A-dubb coming off the bench. F/F: Vince will play the best man-to-man defense of his career next season after all of the experience he has received.
Fact: He's going to be 28 for the 2005 season, and many players such as Jordan, Garnett, Shaq, and Ewing, have played their best defense at that age. Yes, it's ludicrous to compare Carter to those Greats, but in terms of defense, I think he'll take their route. Fact or Fiction: The Carter/Bosh duo is better than the Stoudamire/Camby duo.
As of now thats fiction because Stoudamire and Camby clicked, they were a point and a PF/C that knew eachother, and were both very young at the time. Carters a SG instead of a point which makes their duo different, however this season it should be better than the 96-97 duo. Fact or Fiction: Rafael Araujo makes the All-Rookie Team
