well i actually think theyll do one win better that coming sacremento bc as most of the nuggets roster from last year and they should be seeking revenge from the embarrasments from last year and also pejas looking for a trade so there biggest threats gone and there team leader in vlade so itll be a weaker kings team and a vastly improved nuggets team with a chip on thier shoulder

Hopefully it can last quite a few years.

I think Denver will be a very strong team at home, but until I actually see how they play together and prove me wrong I think they'll be a bad road team.
The Nuggets games against the best teams (in the first month) are luckily for them on their home court, that should give them a lift. I'm interested to see how K-mart will get the Nuggets crowd into games, he certainly did that in NJ even though there weren't many that turned up. I fully expect them to beat L.A on opening night and also beat the Wolves with homecourt the leading factor.
@ L.A. Lakers - L (Kobe and co. will surprise them, and the Nugs may not gel together yet) Minnesota - L (tough team, loss against Lakers factored in) Utah - W (a tough team, but the Nugs will figure out a way to win on their floor) @ Utah - W (... a win) Seattle - W (not quite defensive against Nugs' run and gun style) Detroit - L (champs look motivated to repeat) @ Sacramento - W (will Peja leave? doesn't matter, they'll get a good win) Toronto - W (come on) Chicago - W (duuh) Dallas - W (Nash gone, Erick Dampier will help a little) New Jersey - W (HEY! As long as KMart is wearing blue and gold, NJ isn't a threat) San Antonio - W (Spurs tend to suck early in the season) @ Houston - W (trailing by one with 7 secs left, Van Gundy draws a play for Yao (#11) while TMcGreedy's sleepy eyes blur the number (#1) so he pulls up a 21 footer with 2 defenders on him, including K-Mart, while Yao screams "I can't believe he didn't give up the ball!" The shot bricks, Coach VG shakes his head hey T-Mac saga is just beginning in Houston.... Nuggets 89-88.) New Orleans - W (KMart drops career highs of 39 pts and 24 rebds and dedicates them to ol Coach Byron) That's pretty bold for the Nuggets (11-3), compiling a 8 winning streak in only its first month of action. I'd say they'll have the 2nd best record in the West by the All Star break... don't count on it.

Kenyon Martin is a good young player but I don't think he makes Denver that much better. He's tough, can board and score a bit but I wouldn't rely on him to push you guys to the top of the west. I don't see you guys better than the Lakers, Houston, Sacto, Minnesota or San Antonio. From what I saw you guys needed a lot of shooting. Melo ain't a shooter, he's a scorer. Martin will definitely get you guys in the playoffs but to me, your team still needs a good 2 guard. Brent Barry + Kenyon= reason to be confident.

wait wait wait wait let me get this straight, "upsidedown" we need a shooter? will you tell me who knocked off peja in the 3 point shooting contest. n brent barry doesnt help. melo is better than brent and if somebody objects speak now. and besides brents brother isnt a bad shooter in the least bit quite the oppposite n looks like hes resigning

Melo takes some of the weirdest, off balance shots I have ever seen. Melo is better than Brent but I never said he wasn't. I said Melo is a scorer, not a good shooter. His shot selection is weak. When he gets older, he'll get better but if he keeps off balances 17 fters, don't expect his % to go up. 2. Veshon Leonard is a good 3 point shooter but taking 3 pointers all the time won't give you a high % shot. Getting Ginobli would have been better in my eyes. He takes the ball to the bucket and that's as high % you can get. 3. Jon Barry is alright but Brent can handle the ball like a point guard. I'd rather have Barry then Leonard on my team. Barry can do a lot of things.
