I'm not playing the PC role. I could care less who wins. If the Eagles win, great, we have a new world Champ. But I don't see it happening. It's all piss and wind anyway.
Going into the Colts game I was extremely nervous. I fell victim to the HYPE. Even tho we beat them last year under similar circumstances sumthin told me this could get ugly. Well it was ugly...for Manning! Then we had the vaunted Steelers. They had beat us & were riding the longest current winning streak. And even tho I was confident, I still felt the game would be decided by no more than a FG. I was way off once again. So now we're playing the champs of the NFC LEast & I see no reason why the Pats shouldn't continue their dominance. The Eagles run defense is mediocre IMO. I expect Dillon to carry the load & quite possible take home MVP honors. McNabb & the boys could only muster 3 points on the Steelers. That doesn't give them much hope to do any better against the defending SB champs now does it? The NFC is a JOKE & u know it! If the Bills, Jags or Ravens were in the NFC they'd be in the SB & not your beloved Eagles.

The Eagles were one of the top 2 or 3 teams all year, and it makes no difference if they are in the AFC or the NFC. The fact is you dont have to be the best, you just have to be better then your competition. You guys are in for a rude awakening, Eagles play tough no matter who they play. And as an underdog, I love them in this position.
Although all the "experts" said the Colts would beat the Pats, I never once said they could. I knew the Pats were going to demolish Manning, people just thought that once again a good offense is better than a good defense, which is always wrong. I knew that the Pats would easily win if Ben played like crap, and what happened? He played like crap, and the Pats dominated. I'm not trying to take anything away from the Pat's victories in this offseason, but Peyton was 0-6 in Foxboro. He's from a dome team, and dome teams are horrible outside in the playoffs (look at Atlanta), especially in the snow. I knew that would happen, to me that game was a gimme for the Pats. It was still impressive, but it was expected. Belicheck just has Peyton's number, and that's that. Secondly, the Steelers played horribly. Once again, I'm not taking anything away from the Pats but when the Bus fumbles the ball you know things aren't going to go well. Plus they had a Rookie QB in a conference Championship game, and he was already on a decline as we saw in the Jets game. The Pats capatalized on Ben's mistakes, and that's what they needed to do. I was very impressed with the Pats offense against the Steelers on the other hand, and that is what worries me. As far as I'm concerned, every team is flawed. Hey, the Pats might come out over-confident and make some mistakes, you never know. That's what happens in the NFL, and counting out a team like the Eagles is just plain stupid.
Excuse me, i have to count out eagles. It is the innappropriate disrespect the eagles are showing appropriate disrespect the patriots are giving the eagles that is going to motivate the patriots, because they dont like disrespect, and it fires them up.

I'm still surprised no one has brought up how the Pats won their last two Super Bowls. They won them by a field goal, and they were games I felt either team could've won. I'm not taking anything away from the Pats, but if either team could've won in their past 2 Super Bowls, why is everyone counting out the Eagles? The Eagles are a complete team, and to me that's enough to beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl. What if Kasay didn't kick that ball out of bounds and gave the Patriots excellent field position last year? Could they have done it in OT? I'm just trying to stir a debate here, because I think this is definetly a debatable Super Bowl.
This is the best Patriots team to reach the Superbowl. They may have barely won the first two, but they did win. This team is better because of Corey Dillon and the extra experience.

How did Westbrook fare against the Steeler D earlier this season? Some say, "Its not about yards per carry rather the number of attempts." I myself like to look at what percent of the total plays were runs. Pats ran 60% of the time yesterday. Philly was @ 56%. For this stat, Run% = (carries/(carries + pass attempts)) Bottom line; both the Pats and Eagles had effective ground games yesterday & did what they set out to do.</div> Yeah, I know BA. But Pats37 called Westbrook pedastrian, I justed want to see his definition of good game is. He pointed out stats so I returned the favor...and fine, westbrook had 17 yards on 6 carries with a cracked rib in week 9 vs. Pittsburgh, he must suck, right?</div> First of all I never said he sucked....second I never would have said dillon had a good game vs the steelers either because he didn't he had maybe 4 or 5 good runs in the game but the steelers defense does a better job than anyone at stopping the run so I expected it...now do I expect dillon to run wild on the eagles....no but he should be slightly more consistent because we seem to handle blocking a 4-3 defense much better....so don't just jump to conclusions becuase all I stated was fact...15 carries for 56 yards is pedestrian no matter how you get there.

Eitherway that kick really ended up meaning nothing.
