Where would Peja end up next season ???

    If Peja Stojakovic gets traded this offseason, what team do you think he'd be traded to and why ???

    I think if Peja does get traded it will be to the pacers for Artest. Its a straightup deal and both the salaries are almost the same ( off by a couple 100 thousand). Artest will give the kings d and could be a sparkplug for the kings

    if he gets traded, i dont think it will be for artest. there are a few things that actually look more interesting than just picking up artest. in all reality, i dont see Stojakovic getting traded any time soon.

    And i don't want Peja Traded peroid...If he were to be traded,i want artrest,James,and a draft pick or 2.If were gonna lose Peja,i want something besides Artrest in return..that's just me personally.

    well, I posted this in the rumors forum. What do you guys think of these ideas? some of them i like better than others and they all work out money wise


    Stojakovic to Memphis for Bonzi Wells

    Stojakovic to Milwakee for Desmond Mason

    Stojakovic and Jackson to Minnyfor Szczerbiak (bad idea to me)

    Stojakovic Webber and Minard to NJ for Kidd and Jefferson (NJ probably wouldnt do it)

    Stojakovic to SA for Ginoblili

    Stojakovic to Toronto for Donyell Marshall and Rafer Alston

    Stojakovic and Minard to ATL for Harrington and Childress

    Stojakovic and Webber to Boston for Pierce Davis Banks and Welsch

    Stojakovic to Cleveland for James and Newble (never gonna happen)


    my personal favorite of this list is dealing with the Celtics, but I doubt they would want to trade away their star players. (but hey, we all know that Ainge isnt the greatest when it comes to running the front office so it could happen...[​IMG]

    Out of the Peja trade rants you thought of,i like these the best.Of course Artrest for Peja is the Better,i wouldn't mind the trades above

    I like the atl trade, but its probably something that is less likely to happen than the Celtics idea...

    I would certainly be willing to trade Dunleavy and Murphy for Peja. I'd even be willing to throw in a future first rounder.

    I would think that would be a better deal than trading for Artest, seeing as how no Warrior fan would trade Dunleavy and Murphy for Artest. However, if you're looking for a lock down two guard, I'd also be willing to trade Pietrus and Dunleavy for Peja. Although I'd hate to give up Pietrus because I, like most Warrior fans, see Pietrus as Artest without the head problems.

    Give him another year or two and Pietrus will be most likely be considered one of the top three on the ball defenders in the league. However, if the Warriors were to trade Pietrus and Dunleavy for Peja, I'd definately want Peja to lose the player option on the third year of his deal.
