All I've been hearing about is how great the Patriots are... hype, hype, hype. Well, as someone else correctly stated, most of their wins come from a field goal off of Adams' foot-- if it weren't for him (and some bad calls that fell the Patriots way a couple of years ago), the Patriots would NOT be 2-time champs, IMHO. I'm from New England and do like the Pats, but have to look at things in perspective here too---this game is all about the money, royalties, consignments, and what is best for the NFL. Do I think it may be " lightly rigged"? Yes I do unfortunately, because there is simply too much money involved with each individual outcome. The big hype is this "dynasty" thing, and one has to think about the impact that will have on the NFL as far asoverall sales figures and increased interest versus the interest generated if the Eagles win. The hype must go on, bottom line.... Just something to think about... Realistically, Indy never had a chance cause Belli definately has Peytons' number regardless of his great abilities on the field. He sucks versus NE-- always has, always will. Pittsburg got BEAT by the Jets save for a couple of miscues by their kicker Brien, and quite honestly I feel they would've given the Patriots a better game than Pitt did. JMHO. Funny how some are perfect all season, then boinks two in a row.....yawn... Patriots will win, no question---Vegas says so, the "dynasty interest" says so, and the future commercial endorsements/contingencies say so. I will be highly surprised, and my thoughts about this all being "fixed" for monetary gain will change greatly should the Eagles come out of this game with a win. JMHO.

JMHO.</div> Wow, where to begin with what is wrong with this post. I mean soooo many things If the league were going to fix games they would have the giants, jets, bears as the dynasty not the patriots. If the NFL was going to rig it, they would nake the big market teams win, cuz that is what would be best for the league. This is as dumb as the conspiracy theories I hear about bush.
Nothing "wrong" with my post, other than it doesn't happen to coincide with what YOU feel, correct? That does not make it "wrong"--- it is simply MY opinion. That is the great thing about America, we have the freedom to have our own opinions, and they are not "wrong", even tho you may not agree with them. Believe what you will for that is certainly your choice and I greatly respect that, but please don't bash me simply because it doesn't happen to fall into YOUR way of thinking. I love the entertainment of the games just like everyone else and sit right there rooting for my favorite team too, but like I said I am a realist and cannot be shallow enough to think that the NFL is anything like a high-school or college game because the difference is that there are millions, even hundreds of millions of dollars, at stake here---and that creates many "interesting developments" , especially at this stage of the game, seeing as the Superbowl is such a huge commercial bankroll to so many. JMHO.
All signs point to a Patriots victory...which is precisely why I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Eagles won. This game is looking more and more like Green Bay/Denver and New England/St. Louis all the time.

Eagles are a grear team as an underdog. They are going to be loose as Merril Hoge's girlfriend on Sunday, I am feeling more and more confident with this game as time goes on.

If they seemed to be acting that way i would agree with your point.
i gotta agree with E4L on this... i too feel that everyday we get closer, that we will win. we are very close in most aspects of our stats... i wouldnt be surprised if the eagles won, or the patriots...i still feel this game could go either way, but still at the end of this game, the better team will win, and it may and may not be the patriots.
