I said No. I dont think it will change the outcome that much if T.O. plays. The Eagles are still playing a very tough Patriots team. They got the experience, and McNabb is no Brady. All the Patriots do is win, I mean look at the way they dominated the Steelers who had an incredible regular season record of 15-1. I really dont think the Eagles have that much of a chance, I think the Patriots should take this game pretty easily. There is always a chance though I guess.
The Eagles can win, but they won't. The Patriots are playing with confidence and showed their playoff experience beating the #1 offense in the league and then the #1 defense in the league. Philly is a very good team, but unless they can force the Pats to give it up a few times, it's hard to imagine them winning this game.
I think New England will live off of Philly's blitzes. Most coaches had troubles adjusting to them, but we know that NE doesn't have a normal coach. He's going to figure out a way to make Philly's defense suffer for sending the blitz so often.
First of all, the biggest misnomer is how much the Eagles blitz, especially this year. In sundays game, I think the Eagles blitzed total of 2-3 times. They blitz in certain situation, with Kearse and the rest of the d-line, they can put enough pressure one the QB without the blitz. They will blitz, but Tom Brady wont know when it's coming.
Yeah well we hadn't given up 30 all year and gave up 41. Good luck stopping the best team in football.
We dont have a rookie QB that will throw 3 INT's. Turnovers are the difference in these games, and there is no team in football that turns the ball over less then the eagles.
SF, it's not about being better or worse it's about match-ups. You should know, the best team does not always win. The Pats beat the Rams 3 years ago, a team that everyone thought was better. The Broncos beat the packers in 1997. Upsets happen all the time, and it's not like the Patriots are that much better then the Eagles, I think people are getting carried away with the hype.
Thats so true E4L, the best team doesnt always win. Therefore there are upsets. Falcons should have won then, the better team lost what an upset! :cheesey: P.S. I figured the Eagles fans would love this comment, so its just for you guys. My gift to you.
Most experts thought the Colts were gonna run all over our depleted secondary. They scored 3 points. THREE POINTS!!! In the 2 previous SB runs we won the majority of our games by less than 10 points. However this season we've trully dominated. With the additions of Rodney Harrison & Corey Dillon & the drafting of Daniel Graham, Asante Samuel, Eugene Wilson, Ty Warren & Vince Wilfork in recent years we've only gotten better.
i dotn want TO top play i like him as a player but cmon think about it. if he plays n wwe win, the credit will go to him regardless of what we did w/o him if we lose, all the blame goes to him even if Akers misses a last second FG to tie the game. hes just one of those players,
Looks like TO is not going ot play, and if he does he will be going against Doctors orders so he probably wont be 100% anyway. That means he wont be a threat,a nd they will have a useless player on the field a lot.

The only teams that were better were the Jets with 13 and Indy with 15. So, yes the Eagles are not the best, but are pretty good. In comparison the Pats had 24 turnovers in the first 14 games. My point was, McNabb is not likely to throw an intereception in a big spot, he only had 8 all year. And he did become the first QB to EVER throw more then 30 TD's and less then 10 INT's.

He threw 5 INT's in 3 NFC championship games. 3 vs. Carolina last year were mostly his recievers fault, but it doesnt matter. Your boy Manning, threw 4 int's in just ONE championship game alone, he cant blame his all pro recievers either. So far this year he has 0 int's in 2 playoff games. Neither does Brady, and that's why they are both in the Super Bowl.
