Lets face it bull fans Eddie Curry hasn't even came close to reaching expectations. People were saying he would be the next shaq what happend oh yeah he's never in shape. Even though Shaq is usually never in shape in the beginning of the season he still scores a ton of points and no one can stop him. So my question to you bull fans is simple, Do you still want to see Eddie in a bulls uniform.

How will Hinrich help curry? Its up to curry to get into the weight room and get into shape.

Well obviously Hinrich wont help Curry in the weight room unless he is his spotter...

But I think he just needs to play hard on the court for the whole season he shows me that sometimes he plays hard and he scores like 20 but then he doesnt some times and he scores like 8 so it showing me he doesnt have much heart he is really playing for the money.

I feel he just didn't play hard under Bill C. I think he just shut him out and refused to play hard right before Cartright got fired. I think a full offseason and camp with Skiles will help him. Also, I think getting Mutumbo will help Curry. Mutumbo is a veteran who is a very hard worker and was a very good center in his day. If Mutumbo's work ethic does not rub off on Curry it is hopeless for him. This year is big for him. It is time for him to put up or move on.

u don't give up on monsters like curry. professional athlete status obscures the reality of their age, he's only 21 with unfair expectations. i'm 22 and i know that
i'm very much finding myself, to be ascribed these lofty expectations would trouble me. and to compare curry with shaq (overweight or not) is absurd, shaq is a genetic freak, arguably the most dominant player since wilt.

btw, if u don't want eddy in chicago i'm sure we can work out a trade for vince. how about eddy curry+pippen+eddie robinson for =vince carter and lammond murray?

Eddy isn't doing as bad as you suggest. I think for a guy that came straight out of high school that he has done really well, especially last season. Last year, he made a difference whether you want to admit it or not, and the stats he put up were impressive in my book. Sometimes high school players take 4 years to develop into a difference-making player, it took Eddy one year.

If anything, people should be worried about Tyson Chandler. Personally though, I fear this young Bulls team. 2 years from now, Gordon, Chandler, Deng, and Curry will all be accustomed to the NBA and stars in their own right, not many teams in the East are going to be able to stop that. Keep your eyes on the light at the end of the tunnel, if you guys are patient with these guys, you could have another championship-caliber team on your hands in a while.

That is a very good point. I mean look at Jermain O'neal. He is a superstar now, but he was riding pine in Portland for 2-3 years I think. Don't remeber how long exactly.

Why is that? I felt that he had a strong begining to the season, until his back slowed him down. No disrespect, I am just interested in knowing why you might think that.

Simply because he hasn't proven himself over a long amount of time. The thing that I am wondering is whether or not he is going to be able to pick up where he left off. Sometimes players have a hard time doing that and if I were a Chicago fan, I might wonder if the injury is going to cause him to take a step backward. Nevertheless, I'm not really seeing either Eddy or Tyson as flops.

Yes Eddy hasn't blown up to be baby Shaq. But he's still doing alot better then Baby Jordan Harold Minor ever did. He still has time, the only question I've heard about him is will he show up under 300 lbs during training camp?

YEAR TEAM G GS MPG FG% 3P% FT% OFF DEF RPG APG SPG BPG TO PF PPG

Considering he has upgraded his scoring each of his three nba seasons he is doing excellent added witht he fact he came out of high school he is developing faster than even tracy mcgrady did.

He is over weight yeah so.... shaq is to you dont here anyone complaining when he is winning titles. He could have a good off season later in his career like shaq is having this off season as he is supposably in hte best shape of his career. Then you have a dominate player who is in good shape. Win win situation.

I don't think we should gamble trading someone with as much talent/potential as Curry unless we can get our ands on someone like Pau Gasol. Curry improves about 4 points a year it seems, so its not far-fetched to predict he averages 18-20 and 7-8.

I think some are forgetting, with 14 ppg and 6 rebounds, Curry is already one of the top Centers in the league, and one of the only true centers.

Pax doesn't wanna trade Curry yet, hopefully we wait and see how he prouduces in the season before we ever pull a trigger on a trade involving Curry.

14 and 6 is not bad at all and if he does get himself into better shape and he will as the year goes on, those numbers will go up. He has got great potential and you are all right most high schoolers do take 3 to 4 years to develope an NBA game. Curry is going to be Ok that is assuming he puts the cheese burgers down and picks up some weights
