Depending on how they do this season im thinking some of the possibilities could be Chris Paul, Nemanja(sp?) Aleksandrov, Martynas Andruskevicius(sp?), or Hakim Warrick even..

    What do you guys think?

There are too many variables. We have no idea what pick they are getting, we have no idea which college/international players are going to declare, and we don't know if the NBA will set an age limit or not. We don't even know how this current team will play together. Okafor could break his knee and leave the Bobcats with a void at the power forward position, or Gerald Wallace could be an absolute bust with the Bobcats and leave them with a need for a small forward. It's a little early to be talking about next year's draft for the Bobcats.

The season hasnt even started so you cant say anything about who there gonna draft after it ends. IF they get a top 10 pick they might be able to get there hands on Marvin Williams, but thats they only thing I can say for now. When the season ends then I'll dig this thread up and post in it.

Little too early to judge. If everything plays out how they think it will, they may need another PG..

True, it's too early to say. But where's the fun in that? (Note: The title of the thread is "Who could..." and not "Who will...")

The Bobcats are stacked with a lot of promising young talent in the frontcourt, but their backcourt looks pretty weak. This is really just a test season for the Bobcats, as they'll see who they plan to keep and who they will cast off after the season is over. Right now, they don't have much talent at the PG position. Hart and Cook are 3rd team point guards in this league (though Hart improved a lot last season with San Antonio), and House is more of a SG than a PG. I can see the Bobcats upgrading this position in next years' draft as they desperately tried to trade up in the 2004 draft to get Jameer Nelson (Orlando beat them to it). Players they may possibly look at in next year's draft are Chris Paul out of Wake Forest and Mustafa Shakur out of Arizona.

Besides, as noted from this offseason, the Bobcats are going to try to build their team through the draft besides spending big money on free agents. Point guard is a position they need to upgrade.

I agree with some of the comments above. I think that right now the point guard position is the one area that makes the most sense for the Bobcats to address first. Almost every great team has a strong point guard, and I myself believe that everything starts with the point guard.

Hopefully there will be a strong crop of point guards in next year's draft like this year.

They will obviously be a lottery team if they go into the season with there current roster. They could probably get a pick any where from 1-8 depending how well or bad the other teams in the National Basketball Association do. I think that they should look to get a solid point guard because without that you can not win. There will be guys on the market like damon stodumire, but I dont see him showing any intresting in going to charlotte.

In the draft they could possibly target gerry mcnarmera(sp?) or what ever his name is from Syracuse if he declares to go into the draft. Though they need a point guard if they get really high and Warrick is still there they got to go anway from what they need and take the best avaliable player like the Bulls have done in the past couple of years.

Thats a totally different thing. I'm saying is who could or even maybe, who would you LIKE for them to draft if they could, everybody keeps saying the season hasn't started blah blah blah, but like Triple Dubble said "where's the fun in that?" , I wanna know what you would like to happen, or for that matter, if YOU had power who would YOU draft that's availble regardless of what pick you get.
