<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Sasha:</div><div class="quote_post">I seem to miss where I said that, but whatever. The thing I'm implying is that both of them are not a good fit into Jim's system, which is fast paced. Ever seen Aaron shoot, he takes time with his shots, aside from having a weird execution. With Buckner, we're not looking for a person to score, as Allen won't be sitting out too many minutes, 4-5 at the most, so only for that period is he needed.</div> Since when did you have to have a fast jumper to be able to play a fast paced system? Mckie definately fits the system, he can hit the three and play defense. Aaron McKie is one of the sixers best fast-break players. I have respect for Buckner because he doesn't complain about his minutes, and he knows his role. His contract is the reason everybody wants him gone. When he got the chance to play last year, he was actually pretty good.
As it is looking right now we have a three man rotation at the center spot. Skinner, Dalembert, and jackson. Jackson is a vet his body will probably break down and he will probably get a injury like he did last season. Skinner is not the tallest guy you cant expect him to body up and contain shaq. Dalembert is 6'11" (listed), but he is not use to playing alot of minutes so when we face the heat that may be a problem. Now Hunter is 7'1' he is a bit small, but at 7'11 his long arms and wing span could give us a advantage over shaq and the fact he would fit in with the run and gun offense being able to out hustle shaq up and down the court would give us a advantage as well. With shaq in your conference you should look to sign as many healthy big bodies as you can we should definitly perssue hunter. Also we will probably get him cheap since he has one word tagged on his name "potential".

Shaq is much easier to stop with Sam Dalembert than Steven hunter. Sam Dalembert can also out huslle Shaq easily. Overally He will not help us. Our roster is just one Glenn Robinson trade away from being positively #1 in the Atlantic.

He would just be another body to throw at him sort of like the pistons did in the finals with wallace, cambell, okur, etc. All being thrown at shaq. At 7'1 he would be very good at boding him up.
