I think Dampier will end up in NY or Atlanta, hard to say at this point...But if I was a betting man, for some reason I'm sayin NY...I dunno where Clark will end up, but I'd like to see him in Houston...he'll probably end up with a young squad tho, so the Clips make sense...hes not very disciplined, on or off the floor...I think Swift stays in Memphis, I cant see Jerry West letting him go...I dont even think Dampier is the top big man in that group, I think Swift is...

Dampier's choice is going to show people what he's really all about. He's gone on record saying it's not about the money, so if he signs with the Hawks, it's clear he is ALL about the money and not overly concerned with winning. It seems the interest has died down on him and he might regret opting out of his contract with the Warriors. It looks like he's not going to make much more signing with any other team, unless the Warriors co-operate in a sign and trade. So far no one is willing to give the Warriors fair compensation for Dampier, so all trade talk seems to be on hold.

Something I've been wondering about were the signings of Foyle and Fisher. Are these two players a better fit, rather than the Warriors just signing Dampier with the money they spent on those two players?

As for Swift, I think it's going to be hard for any team to get him away from Memphis. However, Jerry West is the master at mind games when it comes to player movement. He said he will match any offer for Swift, but it could be a classic Jerry West smokescreen to over hype Swift, and then pull off a sign and trade for a player he really wants.

Keon Clark is a forgotten name after he was a hot commodity a couple seasons ago. He suffered an injury riddled year last season, but he's still a solid frontcourt player. He will give any team in the league a bonafide shot blocker, and he has some offensive skills to keep a defense honest. With the lack of big men in the league I'm surprised more teams aren't looking at him. The Kings should try to get him at a bargain again after they lost Divac, and with the healthy issues surrounding C-Webb.

I haven't forgotten about Clark. That's who I was hoping that the Lakers could get so they would have a shot blocker. I wish we could get Swift too, but like pplz been saying. It's not likely he's moving. Dampier, I honestly don't care where he winds up.

It's pretty sad when these are the three best Centers available through free agency. All three of them are lackluster on offense and career underachievers. I think the NBA's current crop of centers is the weakest I have ever seen.

I didnt know the bulls were intrested in stro. I hope they get ihm, but would not do a trade with jerry west if he wants to involve Curry. He will be better in the long run then stromile will he has already shown he will be a scoring threat and is a decent rebounder. If he gets an extension soon I would not trade him for any player how is not already a ligit all star.

Clark is a really good player when I saw him playing for the kings I sort of stopped following him last season after he was traded to the Jazz. He is a good defender who is a good player, but his attitude has been questioned that may cost him big money. Dampier will most likely be a knick if all goes well soon sort of like crawford it will take a while, but probably will happen. I dont know if I would sign him long term since I dont know how good he really is since his only good year was a contract one.

I agree that Swift is a better player than Dampier, especially given their age. I've always been a fan of Keon's game. I like him in Toronto, and loved him in Sac, was really disappointed when the Maloofs traded him. Whoever ends up with him will be pleased, and he will come cheap too.

I think that whoever ends up with Dampier will be dissapointed. Especially if he signs long-term. He's an injury prone contract-year player.

BTW, I don't think Dampier will end up in NY. They don't have the $$$, given that they promised Vin Baker 3.5 mil of their mid-level. And the Warriors don't seem interested in cooperating in a sign and trade. And speaking of golden state, I don't know what they were thinking with the Foyle/Fisher signings. They're doomed to another decade of mediocracy.

When all is said and done, I think that Mark Blount will end up being the best free-agent center signing in the L. Swift is the only one with possibly more talent, but I think he will excel more at the 4 spot.
