Yea, those black retro jersey were the best. They should stick with those jersey permanently. One of the best looking jersey at the time. I don't know why they changed it to begin with.
They probably thought that people wanted a new look after a while. Or maybe it's cause they wanted people to pay lots of money to buy the jerseys as throwbacks! Anyways, I agree, those were the best jerseys and I don't think they need a third.
I'll be honest, I hate all of the Magic jerseys aside from the ones that they wore up until about '98 or '99. I'm talking about the ones that they wore since they were an expansion team. Those looked so good and still look good today. The ones now just look so plain and the ones that they had before that for a couple years were just plain awful. We need to wear the retro black ones with the pinstripes. We had a pretty decent record with those. But as for us getting a third jersey like an alternate or something that would be nice becuase the ones we have now are too plain.
An Alternate black jersey would be nice. I have the 1992-1993 Black/White Pinestripe Shaq throwback jersey....they should of kept that one.
I don't mind our jerseys right now. Nice and simple... But I think the team should use pinstripes more(especially the home ones(Am I the only one that likes those?)), whether its permanent or just occasional retros.

I have always loved the original Magic home and away jerseys the most. For me, it brings back memories of Scott Skiles, Nick Anderson, and Dennis Scott, all players who I loved in the Magic's early days as a kid.

I always loved the Magic's jerseys..when the Magic and Heat entered the League I copped both of those jerseys,thought both of 'em were among the best.
I dont think they will add a new jersey any time soon. There new jerseys where just added to celebrate the length of time the team has been in the National Basketball Association. If they where going to add a third jersey they would have done it last season. I do expect though to see the black pin strip jerseys a couple of times this year.
