<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Still without a contract, Nuggets free-agent shooting guard Jon Barry said he is receiving interest from four teams, including Denver. The Atlanta Hawks, Seattle SuperSonics and Los Angeles Clippers also are in the mix, but Barry indicated he would prefer to return to the Nuggets. "Obviously Denver, because I'm familiar with it, would be nice to go back there if I have to go by myself," he said. "I can handle that." Barry said that, with his son having started school, his family will remain in the Atlanta area no matter where he signs. Barry, 35, averaged 6.2 points and 2.6 assists in 57 games for Denver last season. The Nuggets still have $2.3 million to spend on free agents and three roster spots to fill, with the top priority being the addition of a shooting guard or swingman. The list of quality free agents at those positions is growing shorter by the day.</div> <div align="center">Link</div>
He would be smart to stay with the Nuggets because they have the best chance to make the playoffs out of the other teams
I agree...the Nuggets are a good fit for Jon but they havent shown sincere interest in him...I think he'll end up elsewhere...
when barry stood up to spree he gained my respect. nevertheless, i would be hesitant to give him anything over the 2.3 million.
I've heard that Nuggets also wants too keep Barry, but the rumors can't be confirmed by any article or information. So I guess we'll call it only rumors. But, I would really like to see Jon Barry stay in Denver, he did a nice job there, and I think he should keep it.

He is a good fit there, even though he will get limited minutes, and Denver's a great team up-and coming team that could use another veteran, he should be happy with whatever they offer him. The only thing that stands in his way is if Denver makes a trade for another 2-guard. They're looking to upgrade at the spot, but haven't been able to yet. A trade with the suns would make sense, Joe Johnson and a 2nd rounder for Voshon Lenard and Skita.
I would stay in denver if i was him they got kmart in a trade drafted carmelo last year and have the best chance of making the playoffs.
Barry should look to stay in Denver if possible, even if it means taking a small contract. The Nuggets are a good team, and could go far in the playoffs. He will get minutes there, and be an important bench player. He has experience, which will be vital to Denver.
Barry's best move would be to just not move. Simply put... I mean, as a previous poster said, he'll get some good money and stay where he's used to playing. Thats a team that will be looking to contend too. Hopefully if he's kept, he'll get some playing time.
