Allen Iverson was interviewed after the game against Turkey the other night. Bill Walton and his co-announcer were asking Iverson numerous questions about the whole experience playing overseas and how it feels to be co-captain of this year Olympic Team. Iverson gave great answers taking the high road and being very patriotic.

One thing that stood out to me is when Walton asked AI about how Billy King and Jim O?Brien were in attendance. Iverson said that they came to talk with him and to support him and also for Jim O?Brien to meet his wife for the very first time. Iverson also mentioned that he talked to King about players wanting to come to Philly. To me it sounds like AI is still not content with what the Sixers have done during the off-season and still expects more from Billy.

Hopefully, Billy starts getting on the phone possibly attempting to trade Glenn Robinson now, rather than later. Maybe, there would be a Webber deal in the works and hopefully without parting with Kenny Thomas. I?d give the Kings, Robinson, Jackson, and Korver.

But, it's good that Iverson is pushing King to do something. Year after year, it just seems that we still don't get a quality second scorer. And when you look around the league, there are about ten teams that have not one, not two, but three potential players who could score 40 points in a night.

    good to hear.

i'm not content with the roster, either. one more big man and i'd be happier. webber could be that guy and it would be awesome to have him here, but i don't think the kings are ready to give up on him yet. plus they would probably have better offers on the table than a robinson package.

Good to see this. Allen's doing some different things now.
76ers still need further improvement. Yes, BK should get a player who can score. Another thing, this guy and AI should be surposed to trust each other.
So Allen's advice is a very important thing for BK.

Wow a deal with Webber!? THat would be great for the Sixers and Webber is still a top 5 power forward in the league. Tradin Gleen away would be great. If we get Webber we automatically win our division unless someone goes down with an injury. iverson also should have someone he can trust with the ball such as Webber. Iverson really deserve sto win. ITs good Billy King is getting urged to do something from Iverson. I hope Iverson gets King to trade Glenn for a good deal such as the Webber one.

If they can make a trade for webber without including thomas that would be great if he stays heathy. It would finally give them a solid number 2 option. Dont know if the team wants to trade korver since obrien really likes him.

I dont know how willing the kings are to give up webber either with peja supposably demanding a trade. Mabye he will request one like shaq did now that he is seeing everything that the maloof brothers are doing to keep peja he may feel under appreciated after calling peja out for being the reason or one of the reasons the team loast. Mabye if c-webb comes to philly we can see tyra banks at a few games.

I really like Webber but I dont know if I would want him in Philly,he is always injured and with the Sixers luck he would always be injured.

Do any players want to come to Philly maybe some players from team USA will want to if they like playing with AI,I doubt it though since most of them are young stars, but it makes me think.

You got a point. However, now that he would play in the East also alongside Allen Iverson he wouldn't be as vulnerable to injury. First of all, we all now Iverson as a one-man wrecking machine, so that automatically takes some of the load off of Chris Webber back. And secondly, he wouldn't have to go against some of the West powerhouse guys like Duncan, Garnett, and Martin etc on a daily basis. Instead, he would have to go against the likes of Antoine Walker and Jermaine O?Neal players whom he would be able to handle.
