    The following is from wizards.com

Peter John Ramos, the Wizards' second-round pick in the 2004 NBA Draft, is in Athens, Greece playing for Puerto Rico in the Olympic Games. Ramos and Puerto Rico tip-off their Olympic schedule on Sunday, August 15th against the U.S.A. The game will be shown live on NBC at 1:00 p.m. ET.

Why didn't he play in the training tour against America? When they played the first game.

Why do you highly doubt that..he has been dominating the puerto rican league for some time..why cant he dominate against other foreign players in the olympics?

I don't think he will dominate either. I think he will play solid though. I won't be very surprised if he has a double-double in each game. I think he will average 13.6 PPG., 10.1 RPG., 2.1 BPG.

he didn't even average a double double in the U21 tourney, he scored a lot like 21 ppg but got like 7 rpg, so i doubt that he'll average a double double. Also it all depends the style puerto rico plays, against the U.S in those exhibition games they were a very guard oriented team, so we'll have to see if they try to get Ramos the ball.

There is no way he'll dominate against the Americans, if lucky he'll score about 10-12 points.

He barely even played! He's only 19 though. In international basketball, they'd rather go for experience than talent. I think he played about 5 min, got 1 open look on a nice pass from Arroyo and knocked down the hook. Let's see what he does the rest of the tournament.

Yea but Daniel Santiago is 7'3 too, so Puerto Rico isn't losing anything in the height department.

It may have only been 2pts and 2rb, but at least those humble numbers came in a 'W'. Maybe now our country will learn that you can't just field a team of 'stars' with no clearly defined roles and expect to walk over the world! [IMG]

Concerning Ramos game i wouldn't concentrate that much on the points scored, rebounds etc

what impressed me the most was his attitude and not being intimidated against tim duncan or carlos boozer

    those are good signs

but lets wait to see how he develop during the olympics, he hopefully will get more minutes against australia, angola and hopefully greece.
