<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Allen Iverson has racked up more than $1,600 worth of outstanding parking tickets on his 2004 Rolls-Royce Phantom, most of them related to handicapped-parking violations. Iverson isn't at the civil-suit stage. In fact, he's only just reaching the "boot eligible" stage. Since November 2003, Iverson's Rolls has amassed 14 tickets. Six of those were paid. He is appealing the five most recent tickets, which he received in June when his luxury vehicle - which has a suggested retail value of $320,000 - was found parked in a handicapped parking space at Philadelphia International Airport. Those five tickets total $1,300, plus a $190 charge for late payment. Iverson, Dickson said, "is close. He's soon to be boot eligible."</div> Full Article Courtesy of Natalie Pompilio/The Philadelphia Inquirer <font color="DarkRed">Registration Required</font> Well, there's not much news floating around the Sixers in these past few days, so anything we can scrape up is good to keep the forum on track. However, this is sad, a man with his millions to owe that type of money is just absurd. He parks in handicapped spaces and such, it just takes common human decency to not do that. Oh well, guess he'll never run out of his bad boy act.

Off topic just for a second: Why don't normal people have signs? Anyways, I don't know why he would really want to park in the hadicapped spots. It's a bit amusing but it's also kinda just dumb....
Yea that is kinda dumb especially when your very fit athlete with a lot of money. But thats a little bit of money for AI so it doesnt really matter.
very nice find sasha. I verson is always an amusing character to follow. buit i agree with <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Martin He was injured most of the last season so he thought that he's handicapped. 1600 dollars aren't nothing for AI,he's getting millions per year.If he has to pay up to 1 million(alot of parking tickets ),he would not park on the handicapped people parking lots. </div> Ai probally was injured and considered himself to a point that he was injured so much that he had to park in one of those parks. And he probally was just a tad bit lazy also.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting That NBA Girl:</div><div class="quote_post">I still will never understand why he parked in a handicap spot.</div> This is a joke, but mabye if he is hurt so many times he feels he deserves to park there. Anyway I am suprised he does park so many times there as well, but it is hard to find a parking spot in philly I guess. I am surprised he doesnt just have a limo driver or something drive his car and park it. How do you appeal a ticket if its one you got when you were parked in that spot? Its like they put it on your car when you were in that spot its not like they just go around handing them out.
DAM! Thats alot of money. I wondering what he did to get those. Why doesnt he just pay them? He is rich, he got money.
imagine seeing that car in that parking spot. lol iverson is stupid he could have gotten private parking in the back or something lazy beyatch
The guy is a millionaire; so he could have care less where he parked his car. But that still dosen't give him a reason to park his car wherever he desires. I don't know whether he was lazy or his celebrity status got to him. Well, whatever the case may be it?s not that serious, and he?s normal and this happens to everybody. Let?s move on.
