He didnt sign with the pistons he was aquired in a trade with orlando which sent grant hill to the magic for ben wallace and chucky atkins. Dont know how many years he has left or the terms, but you should check pistons.com they probably answer a few of those questions.
He has 2 years left on his contract. He will be a free-agent before the 2006-07 season, but i doubt he leaves Detroit.
You can click here to get a more in depth look at the terms of Wallace contract, and other Pistons player if you're interested.
Wats funny is that Ben, Sheed, Tay, Rip, and Chauncey's salaries added together are still less than what Shaq will make next year.
It's likely Ben may sign an extention this year sometime, I doubt he will actually get around to being a free-agent. It's been said the Pistons and Ben's agent have disussed the matter.

Darko is making more money than Tayshaun????????????? Ben has a good contract for someone of his caliber.

With player salaries becoming so important in trades and the construction of teams these days, I always thought that they should put this info with the players' profiles on the NBA site, but I guess that would go against the team's policies of not releasing that info. Thanks,
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Rimwrecker:</div><div class="quote_post">If Detroit can't win another ring this year, wouldn't Ben feel like moving?</div> Why would someone want to leave just because they didn't win an NBA title the following year after winning it?
Yeah that would be insanely self centered. He's not like that, and neither is any other NBA player. I think the Pistons could well go for a consecutive championship anyway.
