The No. 1 goal still is for the Grizzlies to acquire veteran big man Erick Dampier via a sign-and-trade with Golden State. The second option is working out a deal with the Chicago Bulls to land young center Eddy Curry. But, as team sources indicated Thursday, the third option is the Grizzlies entering the 2004-05 season without making a "big" addition to the roster.</div> Posted whole story since registration was required. <font color="red">No matter what you can only post 2-3 paragraphs of the article and ALWAYS provide the link. Although he is a bit over wait so is shaq you dont see teams dying to trade him unless they are forced to. Curry averaged 15 points last year although I like chandler better Curry has shown more promise out of the two so far. He has also not had a long injury that kept him out a while. Unless we can get both wells and swift for him I dont trade him. Also something I know for a fact you never ever do a trade with jerry west unless you can force him to trade a player he dont want to. He has a eye for talent and if he likes Curry Curry will be good. EDIT: Can a mod please change the title of the thread I put bulls radar instead of giz by mistake.
Im not quite sure if i'd like to give up Curry for Stro and Bonzi, why would we give up Curry because he's underachieving, for and even more severe case of underachievement in Stro? Bonzi, i'd love to see on the Bulls, but really, unless we could get our hands on Gasol or Posey, which i highly doubt, im not sure if i'd wanna give up on Curry.
I wish this never happens !! IF a trade with Grizzlies is goin to happen where they will be gettin Curry, the only player that Bulls should ask in trade is Gasol.

As for Curry possibly heading to Memphis, I can't see it happening. Eddy Curry has a promising future, and not to mention he showed the Bulls fan some of his potential last season. I honestly, don't see the Bull giving him up, they have legitimate MIP player candidate on their hands which could lead up to an All-Star player in the near future. There too much at stakes for the Bulls.
I don't see why we would trade curry this fast, sure he's overweight and underachieving but he is only 21-22 years old. The Bulls have already wasted a draft pick, and 3 years on curry so wait and see if he turns out to be something special or just a role player.
I think we should just wait on him and hope he gets good because if he does get good when we trade him then we would have just preped him up to go out and be a star elsewhere and in the past 6 years that has happened to is more then often.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting deception:</div><div class="quote_post">when arguably the best basketball mind in the game wants u it must feel good.</div> Exactly west has never made a mistake in seeing players talents before. He drafted kobe bryant. Now he has drafted and has had players like pau gasol, drew gooden, gordan gireck, and marcus banks (traded on draft night). He has also made trades and signings of players like Shaq, mike miller, james posey, and bonzi wells as well as others not to mention hiring phil jackson and hubi brown. He doesnt make mistakes in the front office.
