The East is "gaining" on the West in the true sense of the word. But overall, it's still not even close. Like another guy said, there's only one or maybe two teams in the West that are gonna suck. In the East, there's a lot more than that. 10 years ago we were wondering if the West would catch up to the East. 5 years from now, we might be saying that again, but not yet.
