Mutombo has told Paxson that he would like to be traded as soon as possible because he has a huge desire to play for a contender next season so I was thinking what would be some good trades for him? The bulls have shown intrest in getting piacoski (sp?) from houston possibly a trade there would work out for them. Mabye they would also do a possible trade with the suns by including someone like davis along with mutombo to try and lure marion away from them since they are looking for a big man and to trade marion as has been reported on www.hoopshype.com . Anyway what do you think we could get for him.
I'm sure Piatkowski is number 1 on their wishlist. The Rockets are a contender, and he'll get playing time behind Yao since Cato is gone, so I see it as a perfect fit for him.
I'd love to see Pike in Chicago. He's a GREAT shooter and would help this team with the scoring and it would spread the floor, giving Curry options to pass out of double teams. A rotation of Piatowski, Gordon, Pargo, and Hinrich sounds deadly from outside.
Also wouldn't part of the proposed Mutumbo-Pike trade have the Rockets Glen Rice trade exception included to match the salaries? That would give you guys some cap room right? Or am i mistaken?
The Houston deal sounds the best for the Bulls. They get Piatkowski, who can shoot the lights out from long range, Adrian Griffin, a veteran similar to Trenton Hassell, and Mike Wilks, a third-string point guard. It's up to Mutombo now to accept the deal, which I hope he will as a Rocket fan.

Why would we need another point guard? When we got Pargo and Duhon fighting to make the team roster when both are great players if we wanted another guard we would just sign both of them not trade for wilks a guy who is not better than either of those two. Griffen would be good because veterns are something the team needs. That is what they have been looking for for a while. SO I dont mind that part of the deal though I am not sure we could get all those three players jsut for mutombo wouldnt the team have to many players under contract then? I thought the max was 15.
