Whats your favorite game of Vinsanity?

    A couple leap to mind...

    Game #3 vs Philidelphia in 2001 - 50 points... 8 3pointers in a row...

In 2000, the game vs. the Clippers in LA. He had his best alleyoop ever and he hit the game winner

The 51 point game vs Phoenix was good for the Raptors. It made them more famous across the nation.

Vinces amazing rookie performance vs. Indiana in 1999 @ the ACC. That put him on the map.

    Any thoughts?

Yea by far they have to be a Game 3 Versus Philly and the 51 Point Game versus Phoenix.

Game 3 is the one that sticks out because he stepped up when he needed to, and it was the playoffs, and at that time, the biggest stage of his career.

The February 2000 game was ridiculious. It was the first game on National TV for the Raptors, on NBC, I recorded that one, the halftime show was some Houston Rockets thing, where Carlos Rogers hit a shot from halfcourt and won a bet with Mobley. Anyways, that was an unbelievebale performance by VC, the thing that impressed me most was that he was 22 for 27 from the free throw line in that game.

Its gotta be by far Game 3 VS The Sixers, possibly my favourite basketball game of all time. It was one of the more personal dominating playoff games ive ever seen.

it's gotta be game 3 for me as well...i saw energy / heart and desire to win from VC, he had game face on for sure....and the ACC was ELECTRIC, I wasn't there, but i saw it on t.v...it was PURPLE FEVER at it's height...

if any one knows where i can get a copy of this game (in a downloadable format), please let me know...

My personal favorite game was the one against Atlanta this past season. Vince stepped up on three occasions in the stretch, and he scored 43 points to go along with the win.

considering the immensity of the moment, the playoff scoring outburst against philly but the most exciting was the first national tv game on nbc against the suns. i also liked the 47 point effort where he shut up ray allen a few years back, if i remember correctly oakley hammered allen with an intentional foul.

    Game 3 vs. Philly
I loved that game, those 8 3 pointers and the ACC going wild was just amazing. He had Toronto in his palms then.....that was just great to be a part of.

The game in Jan.00 against the Bucks where he droped 47 and broke Ray Allen's nose and did that vicious windmill still stands out...

His rookie year game against the Pacers where he had some clutch moments...Including jumping over everyone to tip the ball in

The game in 99 or 2000 against Boston where he hit the fadeway game winner over 2 defenders....I loved those days

and even though I didn't fully watch it, the game against the LAC in 2000 with the pausing alley along with the game winner....

I remmber that was the 2nd of 3 buzzer beaters/game winners VC made.....each week he was #1 on the top ten courside countdown for those game winners. The first against Boston, the 2nd against LAC and finally the dunk game winner over Houston....and the next week Charles Oakley hit a game winner against the Cavs......good times haha

Also that one game in 2001 against the Sixers in the regular season where the Raps were down by 16 pts at halftime and VC carried em back to an overtime victory and dropped 39....

I think he's asking for Vince's best game, not a list of them.

I think his best game was versus The Bucks on January 24, 2000, in which he schooled Glenn Robinson while scoring 47 points, and doing 2 vicious dunks - A windmill and a Rebound Dunk off his own miss.

I wouldn't say that was his best game...up to that point it was definitly his best game, but he had better games since.

Game #3 vs Philidelphia in 2001 - 50 points... 8 three pointers in a row. Probably the most memorable VC moment out side of the time he dunked over the seven foot talll dude in the olympics. This was the time when VC (before the injuries) was thought to be the new clean cut superstar of the generation sort of the new version of michael jordan *sigh*.

He played like a superstar too I was there live I can say that with complete confidence. Matching AI who was the mvp at the time point for point vintage VC. I like VC and hope he can some day get back to that level. Seems like players I like usually get a injury that changes there career. VC, Ken Griffey Jr., Jay Williams, hopefully all those guys make good come backs griffey was doing great this year till he got injured *sigh*.

Yeah. all those games Spawn mentioned are great. I was sad to see that after 3 sensational years and becoming the most popular player in the league, everyone seemed to just bash carter and COMPLETELY forgot about him. Sure they have their reasons and some of them are true but Its sad to see how they just moved on to someone else. Anyone else still as much of a die hard fan as me? ive been watching since his rookie year and look forward to see what he will do next season.

I am still a carter fan have been as long as he has been in the league and will continue to be. I just am not a raptors fan though I cant imagine VC in anything, but raps colors. I hope he proves the haters wrong I still have faith he will.Cant wait to see him doing it he has a great jumper and great athletic ability he needs to demand the ball more to return to the form he was in 2001.

He is still the mostpopular bball player in the USA just look at how he contiinues to dimnate all star voting. He will soon prove he cant still be the most dominating player in the nba as well you can count on it.

Yea no doubt, im still a hardcore Vince fan. I dislike when ppl put him down, but I do to sometime cuz of Vince's attitude. He never looks to push himself to be better, cuz we all know he can. He doesnt try his hardest and he's still top 10 in league scoring, think of when he tries, he passes the ball up too much to make his teammates better. No matter what he does he'll be criticized hard. And if he plays good, ppl just "expect" it from him anyways. Like how if he leaves Toronto everyone would hate on him so badly. Yet no one says anything when McGrady leaves toronto, and now leaves magic, like I dont even know if anyone in Orlando is mad at him. I tell you.. ppl sometimes... well anyways.. thats Vince's life.

He doesn't have much to proove, other than that if he can carry a team. He only real missed 3 games due injury, the other 6 could of happened to anyone.

He's dominated the game since he's been in the L. They double team him and triple team every game, when they dont, he makes them pay, even when they do he can still make them pay. That's dominating. Last year he dominated all the games when he came back from injury, with Rose out, and when he returned. The reason they didnt fair well was because he didnt get as much scoring oppurtunities with KO's style of play, and because they didn't have the too most important posistions occupied, Center and Point Guard. Vinces PPG went down because he had more options than ever before on his team. So IMO, he doesn't have much to prove other than that he can bring the Raps to the playoffs this year.

I dont think so considering the guy who started the topic listed a few...

Best game has to be playoffs against iverson where he dropped 50 (hes had better games, just this game was better given the magnitude of the game)
