He can score and he's taller than Taylor, but not very physical.

Juwan Howard has played in the west before, but I doubt he will be a major part of this team. He will probably be traded within the next few years.

you gotta be kidding me. Sure he probably will have trouble wit KG, C-Webb, TD, and all the other great PFs. But remember, Howard has never played with a true center like yao. He will definently be the 3rd option. Yao will not only help T-Mac's game, but Juwon's aswell. I really doubt he will be traded unless things come out real bad.

I think Howard will be a huge key to the Rockets' success this season...he will be the proven 3rd scorer that they need to complement Yao and TMac...hes a nice rebounder, has a good midrange jumper and is as dependable and consistent as they come...i see him averaging 16 ppg/8 rpg this season as a third scorer, and him, Yao and Tmac will make a fearsome threesome...

While he can't defend like Cato, at least when Yao is doubled, he can hit an open 10 foot jumper.

Howard will require a defender on him at all times, so the power forward cannot come over and double-team Yao. If Yao gets double-teamed by a guard, he can easily kick it out to one of our three perimeter threats in Ward, McGrady or Jackson.

He is definitely an underrated performer. Although he is not that physical, he can hit the jumpers and that will prove to be important to the Houston Rockets' chemistry. In addition to that, he is a veteran that has been around the block and knows what the game is about. If Yao gets doubled teamed or Tmac cannot get into the inside, Juwan is your man. Of course, he cannot be compared to the all star power fowards of the west, but he can hold his own.

He has to have one of the ugliest jump shots in the history of the NBA. Up there with Reggie Evans for sure [IMG]

He does have stretches where he scores seemingly at will though; but I wonder whether or not he will be able to get the garbage pts that made up most of his average now that he has a bigger front court to deal with..
