Allen Iverson him and Tim Duncan being the only real veterans on the Olympic Team, Larry Brown is going to start using them more than ever. After that embarrassing loss to Italy, Iverson and Duncan should expect a long speech from Coach Brown telling them that they have to step up and lead the team to the Gold. Therefore Iverson and Duncan are going to have to do a lot of work in Athens. And with that being said, that brings up the question?

Will Allen Iverson be fully restored and rejuvenated by the time the NBA Season begins?

And as we all know, from numerous articles and interviews, Allen Iverson is out to prove a point this season, which means that he plans on doing a lot on the court and with him possibly being fatigued from Athens he may possibly break down my mid-way of the season.

    You?re thoughts?

Iverson will bring his MVP style of play to next years season. He can lead this team far and he has proved it. I expect this year a test run and next year a serious title run. Iverson has the determination of MJ, and I believe he will bring a championship to Philly no matter what.

So far in the olympics iverson has fractured his thumb and jammed his finger. He needs to be careful not to injure anything that may keep him out a long time like his arm if he does our season could be over before it starts.

I dont think he will suffer from any fatigue other then mental fatigue come game one of the regular season he should be at full strength. Hoefully he is not waisting his time with team USA and will win the gold medal. If he plays more minutes he should do well. Hopefully they move him from point guard though. He is not ready to handle pressure from the worlds best yet he is having a lot of turnovers.

When you have guys like marbury and possibly Lebron James on your team that can play point guard you dont have to force it mostly on AI. I think that there back court will be better if they leave the ball handling job to marbury and let AI be AI at least until they win a couple of games. Then Lebron may have a few turnovers as well at pointdo to his age so I wouldnt give him many minutes there, but being 6'8 he would create matchup problems for teams like argentina.

I'm not really worried about this because the season is a while from now. Plus Allen is a friggin warrior and if he feels he should play he will, there is pretty much no stopping him. Come on now how manyt times does this guy hit the deck in 1 game in a 72 game season?
