^ If VC hadn't gotten injured in the middle of 2001-2002 then I strongly believe that they could have beaten the Pistons. First off, they would have gotten a higher seed then 8th (or 7th, which one did they get again?). They were the 4th or 5th seed and then VC got injured and the slide began. If I remember correctly, he didn't get to play till they lost the 8th straight game. The slide ended at 13. So I think they would have made the ECF with the roster they had upto that point. The bench was solid, almost everyone was healthy and contributing but VC was missing. If he hadn't gotten hurt in the first palce, they would have held on to that 4th or 5th spot.
I wish we hadn't traded Jonathan Bender. I thought he was going to be something special, but we got an undersized centre in AD instead while Bender got buried on Indy's bench. On another note, what if we had better scouters in the Raptors organization a few years ago? Think of all the players we could have had. Zach Randolph instead of Michael Bradley, Marion or Andre Miller instead of Bender, Allen, Nash, Marbury, or even Kobe instead of Camby.
