<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Mark Price is back with the Cavaliers. But it isn't to fix their shooting woes. The Cavaliers and Fox Sports Net announced Wednesday that the former Cavaliers star will be the color commentator for about 40 broadcasts this season. Price replaces Matt Guokas, who was let go by the network after seven seasons on the job. The team wanted a former player to fill the role to connect with fans. They pursued former Price teammates Craig Ehlo, who does TV work for the Seattle SuperSonics, and Brad Daugherty, who works for ESPN, before landing Price. He'll join play-by-play man Michael Reghi on the telecasts. ``This was a pretty enticing offer, it seemed like a great opportunity,'' said Price, who lives in Atlanta with his wife and four children. ``This team reminds me of the Cavaliers when I came to the team and we were building something.''</div> source
Nice to have Price back with the Cavs. One of the best players to put on a Cavs uniform. I had no problem with Goukas, didn't do too bad of a job for us, but having Price here doing commentary will be even better I think.
Goukas was a great announcer. But he was too neutral in his commentary. The Cavaliers want someone to come in being 100% behind Cleveland in their announcing.
man u see cavs fastbreak today?terrible man, just terrible.they went out on the streets having people trying to spell zydrunas ilgauskas.took them like 20 people.they were so dumb man,it was very boring.

Eh, did I even spell it right? Anyway, it took a lot of people a while to spell it. They always forget the <u>De</u> at the beginning.
good pickup, fans are more able to identify with a former player of the past...its usually a refreshing combination to have a former player and then an announcer who has worked into his job...more objectivity and variety in regards to the play-by-play...
It's going to be great to see Price again. It has seriously been like almost a decade since he has been on Cleveland TV.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Former Cavs star guard Mark Price, the team's new Fox Sports Net Ohio analyst, says while he's also open to serving as a shooting coach, he's not been approached about it by team management. Well, Price should be approached. He's the Cavs' all-time leading 3-point shooter - and Cleveland stunk at outside shooting last season. </div> Props to The Plain Dealer
If Price was our shooting coach, our team would improve, big time. As it mentioned, Price is the all-time Cav's leading 3 point shooter, and the man can make freethrows from a very good percentage. Price can help out a lot of the players we have and work them into being great shooter and to improve this team. Obviously we need some outside shooting help, we sucked at it last year.
Yeah really, he can help out kids like Sasha, Luke and Juanny on their outside shooting and also help LeBron fix his FT% problem.
that would be great, juanny was really developing a nice shot.i cant wait to see luke play.sasha on the other hand is supposed to be a great shooter!!!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting J-Roc:</div><div class="quote_post"> and the man can make freethrows from a very good percentage. .</div> lol, very good percentage? he has the best all time FT% of anyone, ever! the cavs should sign him and put him on the court at the end of the game. forget being an announcer.
Ahh, wouldn't that be great? Mark Price announces that he is coming out of retirement to school perimeter defenders.... One can only dream.
