Welcome to Cleveland buddy. I've heard good things about this guy and am anxious to see him get out there and knock some heads around. Signing a 3 year deal tells me the Cavs really like him.
niccccccccccce, welcome varejao!!!i think he can become a really good player.we need that spark off the bench.
He should be able to fit into the Cavs system right away and produce off the bench. I havent heard a lot about him but he should step up BIG for the Cavs.
Never seen a lick of footage, but I do have high hopes. They say he's an energy guy with alot of charisma, thats always good to hear.
He's a great player, great attitude and he always plays with 100% of his heart. I'm looking forward to see him in the Red and Wine suit.
Hopefully he's good as he sounds. Is the third year on his contract an option like Boozer's was or is it just a straight forwad 3 years?
Hmm not sure if this is good or bad because I never seen him play in my life. But I guess the Cavs see some good in him and I hope he produces good.
I've known about this guy for over a year now, and so far I've heard only good things about him. From what I hear he isn't a very good scorer, but can get what needs to be done. He's an extremely hard worker, and that's something the coaches always like. I'd like to see him succeed, and he should get plenty of opportunities in Cleveland.
Well, he needs to work on his terrible free-throw shooting and get alot more postmoves, with that, I haven't heard anything bad about him except that he's very raw in the professional basketball world.
I hope he can find time off the bench behind Gooden and Traylor at the PF spot. But he sounds like the kind of player that is skilled, talented, and hard-working enough to steal minutes in Silas' rotaion. He should be a good role-player for us and a steal in the second round.
I don't know much about this guy but he better make our team better. It's good that he plays inside because that's out weakest position.
I never heard of the guy. BUT if he can play a few minutes and hit a couple outside shots.. then it is a plus.
I've read his rookie scouting report a while back. If I remember correctly his NBA comparison is Drew Gooden, hopefully the playoff version.
Yeah, I found it kind of interesting he is compared to Drew Gooden and they are both on the same team. Maybe Drew can teach him a few things. Another comparison on a scouting report was a less athletic PF version of AK47. I sure hope he can come close to that comparison.
we had NO outside shooting last year & we were pretty damn good. That is a major flaw but with great athletes we still were pretty good. NOW with any shooting the cavs will be 3 times as good. it loosens up the inside game & gives Lebron and the slasher more chances to do something special OR pass
