Iguodala puts on a Show !!!

I just got done watching the Vince Carter Charity game on NBATV. It featured players like VC, Robert Traylor, Alston, Dante Jones, Mo Pete, Magloire, Stackhouse, Shammond Williams, and our own Iguodala. Can he shoot the three? Hell yeah. Can he throw down VC type dunks? Yes and possibly better. Will he be in the dunk contest? Most likely. This guy was very impressive by the things he showed me he can do in the air and from way out. There wasn't much defense and his team lost but man can he fly. We are going to have so much fun watching him this year it's ridiculous. And last but not least I really do think he will break into the starting 5 this year.

If anyone can find the boxscore, please post it.

I heard that he made a show there but I also heard that Kenny Thomas was there and scored fewest points (also attempted fewest FG's)
I doubt he had problems with shooting the three as there wasn't tight defense.I saw a pic of him dunking and he was above everyone.

I heard that that game had no defense at all they were just letting players do what they want if they took three steps from the three point line so I wouldnt think much of it. I hope he performs well, but to judge his game ion VC's charity game would not be the best idea.

Sorry, but your thinking of the wrong game because Andre probably shot the most and Kenny Thomas didn't even play in the game.

Kenny Thomas had the fewest points, right? Because Andre shot like eveytime he got it and dunked the most next to Dante Jones the whole game.

Let's not get excited and point him towards the starting lineup just because of some dunks and a couple of three pointers. Make an intellegent debate on his skills, rather his skills showcased with a game with no defense, and a game especially designed for "ooh's" and "ahh's." Andre won't be able to drive hard in an NBA game and throw down VC type dunks, he also won't be able to shoot as well as it was showcased in this game.

The charity game(s) is/are like an all-star game, because they put together these athletic players who'll jump out of the gym, and throw down some dunks, and pull some crossovers without playing a fundementally sound game.

Basing his play in an all-star game type of athmosphere to breaking into the starting five has no substance.

what game are you talking about? i watched it today and saw KT get some clock.

either way, i was VERY impressed with iguodala. mad ups and nice dunks. dont know how ready for the nba game he is, but he certainly impressed me. hes dripping with potential

as opposed to other charity all star games, where defense is fourfront...i mean after all...thats what the fans want to see right? [IMG]

Why even think that, and base your assumptions from what exactly?

He seems athletic enough to be explosive in this league. He also showed a nice touch from the outside even with defender's in his face. That's all I'm saying, he looks like he could be a good player in a season or two under his belt. I also was just saying I was really impressed with his array of dunks that he pulled out of his hat.
