Looking at the Jazz roster, there's one thing IMO they lack badly, a clutch player. None of them are proven clutch players, and this may hurt them in the close games. A lot of the players have hit a game winner or to, but none of them have done it on a consistent basis. They are reasonably inexperienced as a team, and may have lose it in tense, close games. Is there anyone you think Utah should sign, trade for to fix this problem? Or will someone step up and make this not a problem?
It seems that the Jazz might have some clutch players, they are just not as well known as guys like Reggie Miller, Kobe Bryant, etc. Raja Bell came up with many clutch baskets and even played most of every fourth quarter of every game. Carlos Arroyo is showing flashes of being a guy that can handle the pressure from the game winner against Denver last year to playing in the Olympics. It seems that Kirk Synder will be a guy in the future who will be a great clutch player. I think the Jazz have clutch players, just not "proven" clutch players yet.
Raja Bell and Carlos Arroyo will do just fine in the clutch. Arroyo hit a game winner and Bell really step's up when you need him to. Who knows the rookie's might turn out clutch..
