I think they will make it to the playoffs because they have the talent to do it and they came up close last year. But now they have to do it without Boozer. They got Gooden to replace him which was a good move for the team. LeBron James should lead the team to victory.

With Jeff in their lineup i think their record was something like 20-9. They were heading towards the 6th or 7th seed last year before Jeff went down. Though we lost Boozer and a couple other players, but I believe we've become a better team than last year with the additions of Sasha, Luke, Snow, Gooden, Anderson, Traylor, and assistant coach Kenny Natt. We wont have to worry about a big losing streak if J-Mac goes down again because now we have Snow. We didn't have a starting SF/SG last year and we were the league's worst 3 point shooting team. We have filled those needs with Luke and Sasha. Plus you can factor in the improvement of our players (especially LeBron) and the growing chemistry between our players with a whole offseason and season to learn each other's games. All we need now is a backup C. I may sound overly optimistic, but I think a 5th seed is possible.

I agree with u, a 5th seed is possible this year, McInnis should be able to start some games this year over Snow. LeBron has learned a lot also over in Athens, Greece. And he will prove this year that he can lead his team to the playoffs like Melo did. And also prove y he got the ROTY award over him.

Prediction: 46 wins and 36 losses. Something like that. LOL

How well do y'all think the Cavs will do this season?

I think they'll do well, and might scrape into the playoffs. LeBron will pull them through, and they'll have a 37-45 record, which will give them 7th seed in the East.

I think they are going to get in the playoffs as an 8 seed. The finally got that 3 point shooter that they needed in Luke Jackson. I am not usre about the PG position yet, I think we should give it to Snow and let McGinnis be 6 Man. Big Z should be good as ever. I can't wait!!!

Being in the east, they could sneak into the playoffs this year.

Lebron already has a year under his belt, and he's coming back this season with more experience. Their chances of the playoffs will come down to how far he can carry them, because he is their franchise player and they are building around him.

The loss of Boozer was a huge setback, but Drew Gooden was a solid replacement. As for Eric Snow, he's an underrated PG, and he could provide the veteran leadership for Lebron.

Yeah I really like what the Cavs did this offseason. I still don't understand why they got Eric Snow but hey he is a great addition to our team.

Who do you all think will start at PG? McGinnis or Snow...

Snow, because he has more years behind him, and also slighly better stats, but the 2 are very close

I see Snow getting the start because he's a steady ballhandler and can slow it down when required on an uptempo team. McInnis will still play a good 20 MPG though, and will be as important to the team as Snow.

I say Snow does. He's just a better player IMO.

Snow won't get the start, neither the PG or the SG. Jeff McInnis is Silas' guy, and he will start ahead of Snow in most of the games, or all. At SG, Cavaliers will start LeBron James, and Ira Newble will start at the SF position. Snow will give Cavaliers quality minutes both at PG and SG back-up. And when Snow plays SG, LeBron will play SF, I guess. But Snow won't get the start... realize it. I guess Cavaliers has a better record than last year, maybe 4-8 wins more or even 10 more? Well, they will reach the playoffs at either the 7th or 6th position.

The Cavs have had a big offseason and they have mainly gotten better.

With the additons of,Eric Snow,Luke Jackson, and Drew Gooden filled some holes on their roster.

Lebron James of course will be back to amaze us all some more, and he has a pretty solid supporting cast. With their current roster they could easily make the playoffs IMO,it just all comes down to health with players like Z and Jeff Mcinnis.

If they keep this team together they could be a good franchise for the next few years.

I agree with DajuanWagner, Jeff will start for most of the season. Silas has said J-Mac would start at PG. He was a perfect fit for the team last season. We still arent sure how well Snow will fit with the team yet. But I do think snow is a little better than Jeff though. He might possibly start ahead of Jeff towards the end of the season.

I love with Silas we are NOT overpaying for all these great bench players!! LIKE Paxson was doing.

I think The Cavs will be in the Playoffs and a far better TEAM. I think all these new guys have to do is give us something when the starters are resting

I think The Cavs (of course if their Healthy) Are going to make the Playoffs with ease!!!! ..and actually go past the first round.

Our Team now is very good! We had NO bench last year so all the starters had to play a ton of minutes. Plus when they got a rest they had to come in to soon because the 2nd Unit lost the leads.

Now we have a Bench, we have Vets. Plus we have a bunch of guys that can shoot pretty good well better then last year. There is a few guys that can hit the outside shot.

Our Team is better this year! No Doubt.

    Playoffs 100%

Yes, they wil make the playoffs. They are in a weak Eastern conference that I think they can get atleast a 5 seed. Can't wait to get this season started.
