im feeling the bulls this season, my prediction is that they will either be 4-8 seed in the conference, look at this squad:

    http://www.nba.com/bulls/roster/

crap there team is stacked, i also think they have a chance to get higher than a 4th seed.

A 4 seed? You gotta be outta your mind. The Bulls with this squad will be battling for a 8th seed playoff spot if that.

The Bulls are my team and all, but I think they have a slim chance of getting the 8th seed. I mean they have no proven consistent (sp) scorer. They have Curry and Chandler but they aren't consistent from week to week, let alone a whole season. Yeah we have Kirk Hinrich, but he is only going to be into his second year. Then we have two rookies and a foriegn player. We are going to be better than last year, but not compete for home court advantage. Look out for us next year though. With all of our young guys getting PT this year we are going to be dangerous in two years!

As much as I love the bulls, I dont see them getting into the playoffs this year let alone 4th seed. The Bulls dont have anyone to shoulder the scoring load: Curry is too inconsistant, Chandler is injury-prone, Hinrich is a playmaker and the guys we got in the deal for JC are all veterans who bring knowledge and experience to the team.

We drafted Deng, and Gordon both came from good college programs but are still unproven if they turn out good then I can see us making the playoffs if they dont do as good as expected I see another lottery year.

Andres Nocioni(sp?) is good, he has a mentality to try to dunk a lot according to nbadraft.net and he is a good international player but the same problem we dont know if he can cut it here in the NBA.

Every year they are projected to make the playoffs and they always fall short. Last season they finished with one of the worst records in the leauge, and they didn't make any HUGE transactions this offseason that could bump them into the playoffs.

They traded away Crawford for Mutombo, which was a terrible deal on their part. Ever since that deal went down, the playoff chances shrunk.

As for the new guys - Luol Deng is a versatile player, but he probably has a couple of years ahead of him before he will make an impact. Ben Gordon is very good, and he has the playing experience with UCONN, but he could use to work on his playmaking skills.

Curry/Chandler - They are slowly improving and they are the wild card for the Bulls chances of making the playoffs. A frontcourt of Curry, Chandler, and Davis could be very good. They aren't afraid to play solid D and bang around in the paint.

But in the end, I'll call them out of the playoffs. Every year we expect big things from them and they always fall short, what makes them different this year? Their draftees are good, but it will take time.

I just thought of that too. How in the heck can someone project them to be seeded high in the playoff bracket let alone make the playoffs if you lose there #1 go to guy - #1 scorer on the team?

The bulls are great there one of my favorite teams as many people know, but to think they will get a seed any where higher than 6 is ludacris. I think they will get either a 7 or 8 seed and make the playoffs no way they get a four seed with teams like indy, dteroit, philly, new york, bucks, and the magic in the division. The east is much improved and it will be hard to get a playoff spot this year.

I dont think they can get anything over a 7 seed imo, but they could possibly go in at six and evcen that is a slim chance to none unless another team stumbles and they really come out and impress. We took a large step into improving by drafting gordon and getting deng this draft, but we are still to young to think we can get home court through out the first round of the playoffs even if we are filled with talent. If the wizards couldnt do it with jordan those two years it will be difficult for us to do it with a team who's best player (curry) is under 25 years old and our entire starting lineup considering if pippen retires and davis is not a starter is got no one over 30 years old.

Jamal Crawford did a terrible job as our #1 option, yes, he was talented, but he was just a volume scorer. He would get 17 points and shoot like 35%. Maybe put in a situation like NY where he doesnt have to be the number 1 option, he can be good, but here in Chicago, he would have probably never become more than a 18 ppg scorer with about 18 shots. We have taken care of the scoring he gave us with Ben Gordon, Luol Deng, and Andres Nocioni. It's 3 rookies on paper, but Nocioni will definitely be ready to contribute.

And another bonus to trading Crawford, we'll get the ball inside a lot more without him, and we'll play better team basketball. This team could slide into playoff contention through teamwork and hard work, now that we spread our scoring to the 2 and 3 spots now, everyone on our starting lineup can score, rather than just Crawford.

Although I still do doubt we make the playoffs. We'll win 29-32 games. If we do make the playoffs, barring a miracle, we'll get no higher than the 8th seed.

There's a chance Ben Gordon has to have a good first year and Chandler/Curry gotta be consistent. It's possible. The top 3 spots in the playofffs are pretty much decided. Heat/Pacers/Pistons, the Bulls could sneak in there somewhere.

^ I agree. There's a snowball's chance in hell we make the playoffs.

I will personally pledge not to drink for an entire year if we make the playoffs. That's how confident I am that we will not make the playoffs.

Every year they are overrated, and this year might just be another example.

WorkingOut247 - Care to explain your logic for the Bulls finishing as high as 4?

We will get no higher than the 8th seed. Andres Nocioni, Gordon, and Deng will help the bulls with scoring. Hinrich will make the ball go around the court and Chandler will help on defense. As for eddy curry...... he eally needs to get into shape and needs to work on how to use his body when posting up, he also needs to learn if you catch the ball down low GO STRAIGHT UP! dont let a little midget come and take it becasue you tried to bounce it! Damn we shouldve hired Norm Van Lier as coach
