As we've seen the last few years, most teams in the NBA have had at least one retro night where the players wear their Franchise's old uniforms. Do you guys think the Raptors, although they've been in the league for 10 years and changed their uniform only once, do you think they should have a retro night, where they wear the ol' uniforms from the Oliver Miller-Mighty Mouse days? ..
god no those uni's were hideous. the purple and black ones we still have are bad enough. imo we should just dump those ones and stick with the white's for home, and red for away
I would love that idea. Vince wore that uniform his 1st year only. I would love to see those again. They remind me of that wonderful rookie season. Im all for it!!!

I would like the idea, but i'm not sure which jersey you're talking about. Is it the one with the raptor on the front? If that is, I'd get it once the retros come out, i loved those jerseys.
I say go for it. The raps should show their jerseys of the past and respect them. I didn't really like them them much either but it would just remind me so much of Vince in his rookie year.

Oh god.. please dont ever bring those jerseys back, they're simply horendous. Id rather tham make a completely different, even more retro looking jersey for the nite. Anything but bringing back the Stoudamires'.
haha those jerseys are crazy, they aren't that appealing to the eye but it reminds me of vince's rookie season, thats why I love it.... Someone said the black and purple jerseys suck? I think they are better then the red ones. You said what does purple have to do with the Raptors? Purple is all over thier logo...what does red have to do with the Raptors? I get that thier tryin to represent the canadian maple leaf but it has nothing to do with the logo... I like the black and purple ones, they are unique in thier own way, it is better then the old ones and better then the red ones IMO but the alternate ones are cool as well...

Are Bobcats really orange? Are Grizzlies green? No. They incorprate the jerseys to match with the logo, not the real animal. The logo is purple, therefore the jersey is purple as well.
I love the purple/black roads, I think they're way better than the home white. There's nothing wrong with purple, just look at the Lakers. Especially the fact that the front and back are different colours on the Raps jerseys, I can't really think of other teams that have jerseys like that. The alternate red is really cool but they don't match at all with the home jerseys. They're good for alternates, I would probably get bored with them if they made them the permanent away jersey.
I don't think its a good idea. They just wore those jerseys 5 years ago, and 2 of our current players(Alvin and Vince) were on that roster and wore those jerseys.
I think they are pretyt hot, but I don't think they should be included for Retro nights, I mean it was only how many years ago that we ahad a uniform change? there is no point.
before i was thinking they should change the colour so its blue like every toronto team (leafs, jays, rock, argos) but then memphis and utah turned all blue so blue is a played out colour right now....back to the point, i think raps sould get a new logo and use the ones they have now for retro night

If they changed their jerseys, The current jerseys won't even be retro, considering that they wore them less than a year ago. This whole retro idea is not an idea for the Raps.
the real retro jersey for Toronto is the ones they wore a few years back vs. the knicks. I think they were the Toronto Huskies to mark the first NBA played on Nov. 1 1946.
i think that would be great idea... i would like to see VC in his rookie year uni. It's only for one night, i see that some of have negative oppinion on this, like they are gonna wear old unis every game...
