I?ve noticed that there are numerous people here who want Glenn Robinson out. There is has been perpetual demands in wishing Billy King would trade him. So I though I would start this thread, so we can see what you?ve wished that has been done this off-season involving Glenn Robinson.

I personally don?t have that big of problem with him staying here in Philly for at least another full season, but no more than that. And with that being said, what are some trades that you would propose to ship Glenn Robinson to another team?

You can use this to simulate a trade of your interest. This was made courtesy of RealGm.

Copy and Paste the outcome of the trade.

None of my trades on here ever work. They always get declined. I have no idea how to work this thing, lol.

EDIT: And on that note, I tried fooling around and it actually worked!

Philadelphia trades: SF Glenn Robinson (16.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.4 apg in 31.9 minutes)
SG Greg Buckner (3.1 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 0.9 apg in 13.3 minutes)
Philadelphia receives: PF Shareef Abdur-Rahim (16.3 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 2.0 apg in 31.6 minutes)
SG Richie Frahm (3.4 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 0.4 apg in 8.6 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -0.0 ppg, +2.1 rpg, and +0.1 apg.

Portland trades: PF Shareef Abdur-Rahim (16.3 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 2.0 apg in 31.6 minutes)
SG Richie Frahm (3.4 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 0.4 apg in 8.6 minutes)
Portland receives: SF Glenn Robinson (16.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.4 apg in 42 games)
SG Greg Buckner (3.1 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 0.9 apg in 53 games)
Change in team outlook: 0.0 ppg, -2.1 rpg, and -0.1 apg.

RealGM trades are hardly ever efficient, and don't use it if you would want an outcome that could actually happen. All it basically circles around is salaries, and the NBA is more than just salaries.

Philadelphia trades: SF Glenn Robinson (16.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.4 apg in 31.9 minutes)
SF Aaron McKie (9.2 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 2.6 apg in 28.1 minutes)
Philadelphia receives: SF Shandon Anderson (7.9 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 1.5 apg in 24.6 minutes)
SF Tim Thomas (14.7 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 1.9 apg in 31.6 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -3.2 ppg, -0.3 rpg, and -0.6 apg.

New York trades: SF Shandon Anderson (7.9 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 1.5 apg in 24.6 minutes)
SF Tim Thomas (14.7 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 1.9 apg in 31.6 minutes)
New York receives: SF Glenn Robinson (16.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.4 apg in 42 games)
SF Aaron McKie (9.2 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 2.6 apg in 75 games)
Change in team outlook: +3.2 ppg, +0.3 rpg, and +0.6 apg.

    TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to Philadelphia and New York being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Philadelphia and New York had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

I know that it shows a decline for the Sixers, but, with the future in mind, I think it would end up helping us. Thomas, in my opinion, is a rising star and Shandon Anderson can contribute more that Aaron McKie. The only problem is that he doesn't possess the same 3-point shooting ability as McKie, which O'Brien surely will want in his offense. What do ya'll think?

I also think the sixers will decline. Anderson has a huge contract that no team wants and is just a role player not worth nearly that amount of money. Then the Thomas thing already ran its course in philly and it did not turn out well for anyone. He would not be a good second option for AI.

Then Mckie tossed in that trade would just ruin it for us as we trade a player who lead our team in three point field goal percentage and stepped it up big when AI was out. Robinson no one minds losing, but to trade mckie and not get a good player back would be a huge blow.

We already traded snow who with mckie were two of our leading scorers when AI was out. If AI gets injured again we really will not be able to hold up with our only real solid vetern scorer now being kenny thomas if that trade went down. Even then kenny thomas is not that old.

well i used to want glenn gone.

but now that the sixers have corliss and glenn i think they both can be pretty efficiet at the sf for the sixers.

i think they will be a repested offense / defense tandon. corliss being d and glenn being offense.

Actually, it not as farfetched as you think it may be. It?s already been rumored that Shawn Marion is on the trading block. And the Suns have been searching for a legit big man to compliment Amare Stoudemire. Now we all know that Samuel Dalembert has a long way to go before he reaches the apex of his career, but so does Amare Stoudemire.

In the West, you are going to need a big man to have success. So it?s not like the Suns would have automatic success if they were to acquire Dalembert. It would take time, but once that time has come to an end Stoudemire and Dalembert could be a promising duo. Not to mention, they also have Joe Johnson who would probably be an All-Star by then, so things would go very well for the Suns.

If anything, this is a pretty equal trade for both teams. We have a superstar who is aging, which is in need for another superstar to make the 76ers Title Contenders. And on the other hand you have a young Phoenix Suns team, whom at this point has the time and patience to take another player who has a promising future. This sounds like a pretty logical trade to me, but I wouldn?t do it. If Dalembert is up for grabs I wouldn?t do it. Dalembert could be a Top 10 FA next year as well.

I think it could really work. We exchange young guys in Josh Howard and JOhn Salmons, an old guys in Micheal Finley and Glenn Robinson. Micheal FInley would be a goood veteran to have on our team. I do like that Shawn Marion one some one came up with. That would be great for us though I'h hate giving up Sam Dalembert.
