Well, maybe not his foot. More likely, his whole damn leg. What is bA ranting about? TO says God has cleared him to play. Good grief. I always knew he was delusional, but, this is the icing on the cake.

Its like Tedy Bruschi said, "TO is an incredible person...Physically." There was a pause by TB. TO's alleged clearance by God proves that TO is not incredible mentally or psychologically. Interesting? You bet.

    Okay, Philly fans. Spin away.

Dude; U R now my 2nd favorite Eagles fan. I never thought I'd see a Philly fan admit TO was a nimrod. I personally agree w/ Bruschi's thoughts in my initial post of this thread.

God told Reggie White to come out of retirement and play for the Panthers. Why can't he clear T.O. to play in the Superbowl? [IMG]

Why is everyone making such a damn big deal about this. Does TO ever get in trouble with the Law???...No. Do people ever catch him doing drugs, drinking or anything else???..No

If he wants to think that God cleared him to play, so be it. Who cares, you should give him credit for trying to play in the biggest game of his life. You see trash like Moss leave the field 2 seconds early, it's refreshing to see a player putting his career on the line just to play a game.

He's religious, so what. What athlete doesn't thank god for winning, or having a great game? No big deal really

The sad thing is on this I am actually agreeing with those few Eagles fans. I do think TO can say and do some stupid things that I may not always agree with it. However I do like him as a football player, I think he's one of the best WRs and I admire his dedication to playing in the Super Bowl risking worse injury. In this situation I dont see the harm in what he said about God clearing him to play though, not too big a deal really.

i dont mind what he said about the God... it reminds me of john Lennon

i do not admire his dedication to play n risk injury. if your team is this good... youll probably be here nexty year. but i wouldnt risk an injury to play in 1 game. id rather play in 1000 games and SBs over 200 games n a Super Bowl that ended my career

The Eagles there again next year, dont be so sure. After all they did lose 3 times in a row to go to the SB. They were supposedly good those years as well.

I dont think the Eagles will be there again next year, and if they are well then I guess you were right, but I think I'd do what TO is doing.

    Bingo!

Religion/spirituality is a personal thing betweeen you & God IMO. Athletes praying in public reeks of vanity - again my opinion.

I dont know part of the word is to spread the gospel, and if them praying in public brings even one person to god I think it is worth it.
