<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Martin already hard at work in Denver With training camp six weeks away, you might expect Denver?s newest All-Star to be relaxing by the pool and taking some time away from basketball. But that?s not Kenyon Martin. In fact, Martin will tell you quite a different story when asked about his summer vacation. ?I?m here, trying to get better,? Martin said after a recent workout at Pepsi Center, his new home arena. "I?m just trying to get used to the altitude ? running, lifting weights, working on my shot, doing whatever it takes to get ready for the season." Martin, who spent his first four NBA seasons with the New Jersey Nets after a stellar collegiate career at Cincinnati, relocated to Colorado three weeks ago. His life has since revolved around daily workouts at the Nuggets? Pepsi Center practice facility and on finding a house in suburban Denver for him and his wife and their two young children. ?We?ve found some sites that we really like,? Martin said, laughing off the notion of living downtown like some of his bachelor teammates. ?We?ve gotta have lots of room for the kids to run around. From what I?ve seen so far it seems like a good city. The people are nice and they treat me well.? </div> Full Story
I think this tandem of Melo and Martin, along with Dre dishing them the ball is going to work out really well for the Denver organization in the future. I htink they will have a title within 5 years, possibly even 3. I think they should be taken as serious contenders this year..they have a dangerous fast break trio now, and just got an enforcer on D who isnt afraid to talk what is on his mind.
I really think that Mart and Melo will be the start to a possible dynasty in the future for this francise.
Nah, Dynasty is a bit too far. Championship/Playoff contenders for a long time yes, but I don't think they will be a dynasty.
well i dont tihnk melo+kmart=dynasty but maybe in a few years they can bulk up some positions get a promising young player other than melo and ya it could happen
ya theyre serious contenders but a dynasty implies multiple years they keep dishing out, serious contenders so once melo enters the middle of his career we need a promsing young rookie to take the ropes when melo retires
Whoa whoa, why would u think that far ahead... that won't be for another at least 10 years... lol I donno if you'd still be a Nugget fan by then
Well first of all i take that as an insult i've been a nuggets fan my entire life and a damn proud one too. it sickens me when people are saying how much they like the nuggets NOW. where the hell were you all when we sucked. Anyway, a dynasty implies u can keep dishin out contenders after contenders, even 10 years in advannce
