Ehh im not an expert on the law, so what does this mean? Is this good or bad for Kobe? If someone would like to explain I would greatly appreciate it.

Kobe's defense is almost totally based on that, so if the prosecution can nullify that, well...that spells bad news..
Thanks for explaining that...that isnt good. But with her sexual history for that week now fair game, I still think it favors Kobe...but anything can happen.
I believe this is the prosecution's one last push to make things go their way I guess. If it is true, it would be a huge blow on Kobe's case. I don't trust that jury. There is a chance a minority or majority of them will be racist. I'm not that big on law but is it true that a jury's verdict has to be approved by the judge? Or that if a jury's verdict is not unanimously selected then they must discuss till it is unanimous?
ahh this doesnt look good.... this just the prosecutions last ditch effort to turn the tide. i dont think they can prove this though. but the defense still has the "alleged victim's" sexual history so hopefully that'll be enough to discredit the "her".
This case has just been dragged throughout the mud for an entire year and honestly, I'm starting to get tired of it. Are we proceeding to go for a trial? Or is this accuser going to file a civil suit to try and take millions from Kobe? It's just all too confusing, and I really hope we get a solution very soon in the future.
Don't be scare people this is a last prosecution plan to put the trial at halt. The evidence that TeamKobe has about the semen and DNA that was found in the AV's two pairs of underwear are strong. The prosecution is trying to do whatever they can to keep it out. The only thing that TeamKobe has to show to prove that the evidence is not contaminated is to show whose DNA and semen were in those panties and I think we know who it belongs too, a certain ex-boyfriend of the AV, Matt Herr. I will be shocked if Judge Terry agrees with the Prosecution and puts the trial at halt because of what they find. Is amazing that they (Prose) just found this out when they have had the results of the evidence since early March, April. Lets also remember that the states lab, which works for the prosecution, also found the same findings as the Dr. Johnson, TeamKobes Lab representative.

So this will continue on and on for a long time...and this isn't a good thing either.
To let you all know don't listen to most of what the media says or what you read in online articles, they are just another type of a tabloid. Search for the truth I recommend that if you really want to know what's going on is to go to the CourtTV Message Board and read the opinions of lawyers and people that have been following the case since the beginning. All the people there have read every transcript that the court has made public and what they mean. The media only puts up what will cost controversy.

Plus if you have any question just ask and they'll have an answer. Judge Terry granted the Prosecution's motion for a tomorrows hearing, so there will be more news in the coming days. The trial is supose to begin on friday with the jury selection. Opening statements are set to begin on Sept 7th.
i think kobe shud just settle out of court i mean common this is getting old the idea she alreayd slept with other men after is already instilled into the future jury members and i dont think it will matter if that evidence, i mean common its not like they didnt hear about it ha

The prosecution is only trying to save face, they've wasted so much of the taxpayers? money and Hulbert is up for an election so they can't dismiss it. They are so desperate to find a way out that the motion that they file for the contamination could be another way to halt the case or dismiss it. Think of it this way after all this goes away it will all be good in Laker land. There's always a bright light at the end of the tunnel. Also if Kobe truly believes that his not guilty why should he settle. Why give the AV money when she is already costing him more then what she will get. And a source close to KB has said that KB will not be giving her 5cents from his pocket. Like I said in this post or another don't watch what the media has to say about the case they are only looking for ratings so they are only putting out things that are against KB or something in that matter. look at it this way..after all of this is over and justice has been rightfully served, (Kobe=not guilty) Kobe is gonna have a renewed appreciation for life. and with that he's gonna go out everynight on the court with that feeling. so its all good..
