Theres some pub in Sydney, Australia that screens the Superbowl & makes a big thing of it, & during the australian telecast they cross to it. Im trying to find out the name of it & where it is so i can go watch on Monday. Does any1 know?

Man I have no clue what you're talking about. Maybe someone else will, but I'm just lost completely after reading that post.

Dont all bars make a big deal out of the Super Bowl?

In the early days of ESPN Aussie Rules Football was a staple of their broadcasting lineup....that and indoor soccer....Aussie Rules Football is a mix between american football and rugby and soccer....as best i can remember, the players would dribble the ball like a basketball for some reason(i think they cant get hit when they are dribbling)....then they would kick it while on the run through the uprights for a goal....thats when the refs, dressed in suits and hats hold their hands up like its a good FG, then they drop their hands out in front of them and make a pistol out of their hands....its hard to describe and Im not doing too well at it....

Maybe its because I have watched it enough, but you did a pretty good job.

Actually, I've been to Sydney...1999 I think it was....just before the Olympics there. While there are some big "bars" that could possibly have a big Superbowl party, there are more small "pubs" as the norm. Each has a personality of its own and you can kind of hop from pub to pub. Kind of cool.

I remember Aussie rules football. I never really saw too many highlights on ESPN, but on sports blooper reals I've seen some pretty amazing things. Those guys were tough.
