The thing that I always wonder when I read these kind of forums is how someone is going to predict a player making something like 25.4 ppg. Why the decimal? I guess it's just me though.

Back on topic however, I see Francis leading the team in points with no more than 21 a game. Going with a longshot here on the assists and steals and saying that Jameer will lead the team in both (assuming he gets the playing time that he deserves) with 5 APG and 2 SPG. Blocks and rebounds are going to go to Dwight Howard no doubt. I could see him averaging 2 blocks a game and getting in the neighborhood of 10 rebounds a game.

The other stuff, I could care less about really and I have no idea.

The rebounding predictions you guys are making for Howard are ridiculous. He's a project. Yeah, LeBron came in and was great, but its much harder for a big man to adapt to the NBA game. He needs to add bulk, mature and develop until he becomes a great rebounder.

    My Predictions:
    Points Per Game: Francis 23.7
    Assists Per Game: Francis 5.9
    Steals Per Game: Francis 1.8
    Blocks Per Game: Cato 2.3
    Rebounds Per Game: Cato 8.1
    3 Point %: Turkoglu .410
    FG %: Cato .471

That is such a true statement. I dont think he can rebound 8 or 9 a game Yao played over seas and is seven six yet didnt average that many rebound shis rookie season and he weighs more, is taller than, and has more experence than Howard as well as played a lot more minutes when he found his rythm which was like ten mabye a dozen games into the season.

I also dont think that Hedo will lead our team in field goal percentage at 45%?!?!? Our team must be a pretty mad shooting team if our leader shoots 45% what does that say for our other guys? Lets not forget when Grant Hill is healthy he is a pretty good shooter and Garriety was called Doc Rivers most valuable weapon off the bench when the Magic got Gooden and Gerrricek(sp?). Then we also have Mobely who is a great shooter from three when he steps intoa shot. Also we have a player like Jameer Nelson who may be small, but will play like Earl Buykens and take smart shots not to mention after four years of college experence he is ready. Also lets not forget our superstar Francis who has improved his three point game big time and if he is not tring to over dribble and fource up shots is a huge baller come clutch time.

Then Cato will probably be in the high 40% low 5% considering the shots he will be taking as well as a player like Battie I can not see those two shooting under 45% at the position they play and with there talent. Anyway here is my prediction......

    PPG: Steve Francis (24.7)
    RPG: Kelvin Cato (7.5 to 8. 9)
    APG: Steve Francis (6.4)
    FG: Kelvin Cato (49%)
FT: Steve Francis or Pat Garriety (85 to 88%)
Three point field goal: Mobely or Pat Garriety (43 to 45%) the league average is 40% and they are way above that from three imo.
    Blocks per game: Cato (1.6)
