You don't go big for small, especially when the big is going to be a 20-10 guy for the next 12 years.

Yea but when he can't play defense, and has a lot of off-court problems then you do.

I don't think this trade helps us. On the contrary, it hurts us. We lose an all-star shooting guard and one of the best 6th men in the league and gain a power forward, which not only do we not need (because of Joe Smith, who is a 12-10 player with good defense), but we will not be able to resign him during the offseason. The Bucks, and Redd seem to be on the right page together for a new contract after this season.

Not like the Bucks have anyone currently who can stop Shaq anyway ??

And despite Shaq moving to the East, the conference's frontcourts didn't improve all that much from last year.

I agree with tradebark. Randolph is extremely(!) talented. In the West, you need a good big man and he's the best we have right now so I hope this trade doesn't go through although having Redd and D-Mase wuld be nice.

the Bucks are giving up wayy to much. I think they should trade Redd + a role player such as joe smith or santiago. Redd is a future ray allen with alot more ability to get to the hoop. Zach Randolph is pretty damn good but hes not very athletic so hes gonna reach his peak pretty soon wehreas Redd could become bigger then Ray allen. I think portland becomes maybe a 7-8 seed threat in the west. If tjford blows up this year. maybe a 5-6 seed for the bucks.

Correct me if these lineups are wrong

    Bucks
    Tj. Ford
    Derek Anderson
    Keith Van horn?
    Zach Randolph
    ????

    Portland
    Van Exel/Damon Stoudemire
    Michael Redd
Desmond howard/Darius miles? (log Jam, desmond should go somwhere where he can reach his potential)
    Shareef
    Theo Ratliff

    your thotz
