After a few incidents last year, VC wore a long sleeve on his leg because of knee injuries. At his Charity game last month, he didn't wear, however at the World's Greatest Alumni Game, at the Dean Smith Center, VC is shown in this image wearing the exact same sleeve he did when he was injured. Concerns?
I've got no concerns, simply because if he felt any pain whatsoever he wouldn't have played in either of those games. He may be wearing it to prevent something, that compression sleeve keeps the knee warm and this way the tendons loose enough that it could prevent an injury. I know Steve Francis wore a sleeve many times last year and the year before (along with many others) and it could be for the reason above or for personal preference. Either way I think Vince is fine.
^ Yea I noticed that Francis and other players have done that as well. However I'm concerned about this because he didn't wear it 1 month ago at his charity game, and he wore it just a few hours ago at another charity game, leading me to believe that something might of happened to his knee during that time.
I wouldnt be worried, its just a sleeve.. it makes him look gangsta. That jersey is sick btw.. id love to cop one.
^ ya he did, that was a charity game in north carolina and he tweaked his ankle by landing awkwardly after he dunked or while he was running up the court, not to sure. they showed it on sportsnet but i think they said it wasnt anything serious.

Did he do any nice dunks? He probably did something sick right before the pic was taken because he has his tongue out.
the highlights was short,they only showed him doing a fadeaway and an off the back board alleyoop dunk, but he probably did more dunks.
Damn, does Vince get injured every time he plays... he's like a walking accident man. Sprains his ankle in a charity game lol.. his career is gonna be done in 2 years.

sportsnet is reporting he's injured his ankle. its not the same anke, and its just a mild sprain so it should be ok

Vince injured ankle. I saw this on Sportsnet this morning, and it said that Vince injured his ankle at a Charity game. Any thoughts?
hopefully he'll be fine for the season, the sleeve is just there for compression, warms up the muscles, tendons, etc, it's used to prevent injuries. as for the addidas jersey it's sick hehe i want one, but they probably won't release it anyway hope vince works to strengthen his knees and ankles.
Whoa....now his ankle. Well, atleast it's only a minor thing, it'll go away. He is very injury prone, hopefully he doesn't re-tweak it or somethin during the season. If it's a mild sprain, it'll go away in a week or so but his ankle will be more prone to injury somewhat.
^ man...the only excuse for this is that Vince is not conditioning himself well enough. yes, he is probably quite busy with his marriage and everything but he's gotta find time to strengthen up those legs or else no teams are gonna want to have him if he gets reinjured and then demands a trade cause everyone's hating on him.
^ Everyone's been already hating on him since after the 2001 season, especially during the 2001-2002 when he missed those games and the Raptors still made the playoffs. That is when this extreme critisicm about him began. He will only miss minor games this season IMO...if you're a struggling player who has a history (well, 2 years i na row) of getting significantly injured then you shouldn't commit to yourself to anything else then getting stronger mentally and physically. But human emotion is something no one can control. I congratulate on him marriage but let's just hope he focuses more on basketball and the marriage somehow motivates him to be better and excel and make himself work harder.
