Now you have seen what he can do, do you think he is a valid player for the spurs, they have his rights in the NBA.
Scola was drafted by the Spurs in the same draft as Parker. He played for Argentina in the Olympics. We've had his rights for a few years now, but he probably won't be brought over until the end of the coming season because he had a massive buyout from his Euro team.
From what I saw in the olympics hes a hard nosed player that can score , not a bad combination...I wouldve loved to see him here and I'm sure the Spurs feel the same way but the buyout was too damn much. Wish Manu wouldve helped his countrymen out , maybe help him out with the buyout now that he has that huge contract...then Scola couldve re-payed after hes settled in the NBA and has a contact of his own.
Pop said a few days ago that they will bring him over next season and use some If not most of the MLE to get him. Although I do think he would be better suited on a team that is in far bigger need for his services. The guy can certainly play thats for sure.
