the 3-4 conversion continues

    I read in the recent edition of the Sporting News that Denver & Dallas may alter their Defensive scheme.

    The way things are going, every team run a 3-4 defense and the West Coast offense.

    The team that does not (Hopefully, Miami) will have a massive strategic advantage.

    Tim Lewis, Originally the D Coordinator for Steelers was originally a 3-4 guy so I wouldnt doubt the Giants making a switch

    Cover 2 teams wont be turning anytime soon....Although I have always thought that the 3-4 is better suited for the Cover 2 than the 4-3....

    It appears the new Niners coach is leaning toward converting.

    SF & possibly Dallas would have a huge advantage as they'd be the only teams in the NFC running this scheme.

    The article did say LB's are cheaper than DT's in terms of salary. Funny, I always that the 3-4 was more expensive.
