I would like tom ask all of the Suns fans on this board, how good do you think the Suns can be next year? With the additions of Steve Nash, Q. Richardson, and Steven Hunter the Suns have the pieces it will take to win now, and more so in the future. Steve Nash gives the Suns a leader at the point that can distribute the ball, run the team, and take smart shots. He will show this team how to win. Q will give the Suns a true spark plug. He can shoot, run the break, play defense, post up, etc. etc. etc. Whether coming off the bench (I expect he will) or starting he will give the Suns another offensive option. Steven Hunter though not in the class of Q or Nasty will help the Suns this year. He gives the team much needed size. I feel he has improved this summer and realizes that all the Suns need to do is grab some boards, play hard on the defensive end, and block shots. I feel for less then a million dollars he is a great addition. Also consider that the Suns made the playoffs last year with a very similar team. Amare Stoudemire, The Matrix, and JJ are all very improved players. What do you think Suns fans? I expect the Suns to win 49 games this year and make 6-7 seed in the West. I do realize the off season is not over yet but how good does everyone think this team can be? [IMG]

The Suns can go places IMO,they have done a good job in the offseason and have been very active. The thing that makes me think the most is that there off season will probally not be over, most likely JJ or Shawn will be gone, personally I'd rather see Marion stay he is arguably the best players on the squad putting up 20 and 10 a game,on the other hand JJ has been proven to be a very soild player and he could fit better in PHX.

They also have a lot depth to there team, but not at C they dont, for them to be contender they are going to have to solve their problem at C asap(and Steven Hunter wont cut it).

I feel thatr the Suns may make the playoofs but they wont be serious contender untill a couple of season playing together.

I think they can be a playoff team and get home court advantage if they keep Marion if not they go right back to square one imo. They wont be serious contenders in the playoffs, but will have a good regular season. I think they could probably get out of the first round considering when Marbury lead them there they had less talent and took the Spurs to a six game series.

I hope that they can do well because I want to see Q do well he is a very talented player and with a lot of talent around him he may be able to improve his shot selection. I think that they will not make it any further than the 2nd round do to there youth and lack of experence that is what cost miami last season and what will cost this team. There only real talented vetern is nash there entire core other than him is young.

This team is hard to predict. I think they could go anywhere from getting the fifth seed in the playoffs, to not making the playoffs at all.
