Tell him to go to New Orleans... they need some fans to fill their seats, again.

I don't know why this stuff is even published. It means nothing. The guy can't play basketball with a few people he's close with? All this is the media. It's like seeing a celebrity at Chuck-E-Cheese with a friend and all of a sudden they're dating in the Media's eye.

from what i heard, he's coming back, but not as a playe, but as an owner. there are rumors of him wanting to own an NBA team (miami - not for sale).

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting hagrid:</div><div class="quote_post">Why do people write this kind of pure supposition? This should have been a non-story.</div>

For once I agree with you.

What people fail to realize is that recently retired NBA players (with the exception of Shawn Kemp) would still own most of the world in a pick-up game. Just because someone is retired doesnt mean that they can't play anymore, and just because a retired player still plays does not imply a come-back.

This is not even substantial enough to be a rumor, but in basketball terms it's one of those stories that does make you go "hmm."

If I was recognized as one of the greatest persons in the world at doing something, I'd think I'd keep doing it for fun, unless it was something like being the greatest toilet cleaner in the world or something...

It would be nice but being 42 is the major reason he isnt playing. oh how i would love him to just be 25 again.

god i hope not, he made an arse out of him self the last 2 times he came back. he just of never looked back when he left on a high, now hes only making him self look bad, not to mention all his averages will be brough down due to him not being able to play like he use to.

No offense, but just because he was playing ball with some NBA guys doesn't mean he is gonna return. People are making this to be something WAY more than it really is.

just because he retired from the NBA as a player doesnt mean he retired from the game of basketball. he can still play for fun.

I hope MJ doesn't come back, but it would be nice to see him play somewhere in a charity game or something, maybe against some of the other game's greats.

The only thing I have to say about this is that Michael Jordan likes to play basketball. Isn't it obvious?

I lied: one more thing: the media blows everything way out of porportion.

I love the way people eat these meaningless rumors up. I guess that is what journalism is all about.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting rudygayfan1:</div><div class="quote_post">I think it would be stupid move, he is what.... 42, he can not do what he used to be able to do, he can probably barely dunk, and this is the age of dunking.</div>

Bringing this back... why should he be able to dunk. He wasn't that great a dunker when he came back with the Wiz, he still played well. Michael Jordan, of all people, doesn't need to dunk to succeed in the NBA.

The loose talk around the league is Michael Jordan has been working out like a demon, testing the possibility of joining forces with Shaquille O'Neal in Miami, according to Vandeweghe.
    </div>
Thats the only thing that is said, but I think its interesting htat even higher ups in the league are talkinga bout it.
