SHELTON??? He is the left tackle from Arizona?? Isnt he supposed to be really good??? I still think getting rid of Surtain is a bad idea, he is their best defensive back
Hes ok, a bit overrated in my book....He showed up at camp last year over weight and pissed off Dennis Green, so thats a drawback, but hes a good player....I really dont want the Dolphins taking on any players with baggage right now, but its a possiblilty, although I think its a slim one....
well im sure Shelton is better than most of the lineman the Dolphins have right now......like i said awhile ago, if u look at the free agents list, there are sooo many great lineman available.
I love how Surtain singled out Green Bay and Minnesota as the only two teams he WOULDN'T play for. My money's on the Colts...
if Miami gets rid of Surtain, do you think they would look to sign another big name cornerback, i hear Ty Law might be a free agent. Who would take Surtain's place???
no way they sign Ty Law....I think your missing the point....if they trade Surtain it will be to save money and get younger....theres no point letting Surtain go away, save the cash, and then give it to Ty Law, thats robbing Peter to pay Paul....you might not like it, but I have a feeling that Saban will go really young, jettison most of the older talent(both CB's, Zach, Taylor, etc), collect as many draft picks as possible and build from the ground up....that means a losing season now, but good things in the future....tell yourself, 2 steps back in order to take 3 steps forward....
