Who plays college ball here...Any future NBA ballers here? Because like in 5-10 years, I wanna be like..."Oh yeha...back in the day when computers didn't fit in pockets...I remember this guy used to write at JBB.com". Any big names?
Sadly, I don't think too many basketball players come here. I know of a few D-II players and a few college coaches that browse/post on JBB, but no one major. Chances are that if you're a college basketball player then you'd be too busy with training, studying, and social events to post on JBB, well at least I know I would be.
I agree with Voodoo child. I don't see how any "real" great players in college will have the time to post on JBB. I'm sure they'd rather go to parties, study, and train instead of coming here. If someone does, then i'm impressed..
Well, I don't know if you knew, but from Chicago, there used to be a member named AK1 here. He just got a scholarship to DePaul and was killer in Niles West high school. About 27 points, and 12 rebounds if I'm correct.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting MavsJ33:</div><div class="quote_post">^Damn, that's some pretty good stats for a dude I've never heard of. Do you know his name All-Star?</div>Sammy Mejia I believe. He was born in New York, came here for 3 years of high school in West for a couple of years, and then went back to New York. That's what I heard, but I know he went to our school. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> High School: Honorable Mention All-American by Street & Smith's... ranked as the Number 1 5th-Year player by HoopScoop... two-time first team All-State selection... I played for Community College of Phila and Holy Family College (NAIA) back in the day, small schools no exposure. I do have to say that CCP did have alot of inter-city competition and Holy Family had alot of transfers to D1.
Haha, you're funny Hinrich..... real funny. I might join ESPN just to be able to discuss things with Sean Banks. Are you sure it is Sean Banks, and not an impersonator?
I played college ball for WSCC, a junior college, here in Tennessee. Had some looks from a couple D1 schools. Sadly my knees let me down and I decided to pursue other avenues so I could continue to walk when I got older. As fas as AK1 goes,he was a member of this site and the writing team but things didn't quite workout and thats all I'll say.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trip:</div><div class="quote_post">Are you sure AK1's him?</div> yea, thats what I was wondering. If I remember correctly AK1 was only 15 or so and that was only late last year/early this year.
